Calico kittens & cats in Prospect, Kentucky

This sweet cat was found outside 7 days ago, he was walking by our house, stopped when he saw us and then started following us and meowing. We took him in and started inquiring in the community. A woman who had seen Hootie before said that he was a newly branded community cat and that he was great with other cats, could stand up for himself and she fed him several times in the community, he was not chipped and no owner has been found. He has recently just got neutered and his ear tipped. When we brought him in the house he has been nothing else but affectionate , great with kids and adults, extremely intelligent and potty trained -which tells me that he used to have a home and an owner. He is not interested in any way to be back on the street, he loves to play and constantly craves human contact and affection. He is a very sweet and gentle cat.

Patches is approximately 3 yrs old and weighs 10lbs. She lost her home due to no fault of her own. She’s understandably a bit shy now in a shelter cage. She still accepts pets and leans into scratches. She previously lived with other cats and a gentle dog. She is a front paw declaw and must be an inside only cat. Snickers and Binks have lived together for over 5+ years. I would really like to rehome both of them to the same family. Snickers came in a a feral kitten. She came from a family of cats at the bank on the corner of Dixie Ave. and Miles St. in Elizabethtown. These cats were the wishes of my late wife, she acquired them both while taking treatment. I have taken great care of these cats in my opinion. They are strictly indoors, they have their nails and both are very loveable. They are neither a lap cat, yet they do crave your attention. Snickers personality is, she won't let you grab or hold her, but she wants you to pet her anytime you are sitting down. She is litter box trained and has never had a accident. I travel one month a year basically and I boat so I am gone on summer weekends and these cats are left alone. I am not a animal lover, but I do care that they do get a great home. I will provide everything initially that you will need to home a cat.
