Story
Calico was born February 2018 She has been with me since being weaned. She is a typical calico cat behavior. Independent yet loving when she wants to be. She has been treated at Kennebunk vet there at the shelter. I am moving cross country and cannot take her with me. She likes dry food and gravy from any wet food. She will lick the wet food dry but will not eat it. Food is down all day. Does not overeat. She likes her water bowl on counter in bathroom. Does not like dirty cat box. Has never been outside. A housecat. Has never tried to escape. Loves her scratching post. Has never scratched furniture or wood. Always a post. She is double pawed in both front feet. Needs nail care but I cannot personally cut her nails She has a sister who has been with her all her life born 4 months before Callie. Same parents. October 2017 She is also advertised. Would like to see them go together if possible. Both extremely difficult when being caged.

Story
Dodo is approximately 8 years old, Indoor/Outdoor, female cat. She is very loving and chatty. She is fixed, in perfect health, and deserves to end up in a loving home to chat up some new humans. We are moving and cannot bring her with us. We will miss her dearly. She is a perfect companion for those who live alone or those who do not but want more furry friends around. We are re-homing them free of charge and can provide some starter cat supplies if needed (litter box, food, etc.). Please contact Kyle if interested: (207)-346-7340

Story
Meet Cutie Pie, the name that fits her perfectly. This 12-week-old calico sweetheart is a bundle of love wrapped in soft, colorful fur. She’s gentle, snuggly, and already knows how to make everyone around her fall head over heels. Cutie Pie adores playing with the other cats in her foster home and is wonderfully patient with children. She’s also learning that dogs aren’t too bad — she tolerates them with grace, especially if they mind their manners. She’s litter box trained, crate trained, and already showing how smart and easygoing she is. One of her favorite quirks? Sneaking over to the sink to drink straight from the faucet, because apparently water is just fancier that way. If you’re looking for a sweet, playful kitten who will bring joy and gentle affection into your home, Cutie Pie is your girl.Interested in adopting this beautiful calico?Email Critter Cavalry Rescue at CcrTennessee@gmail.com.December 4, 2025, 6:02 pm

Story
Meet Princess Cali, a breathtaking 3-year-old longhair Calico whose story is one of true resilience and love. Cali came from a heartbreaking situation—living outdoors among more than 40 stray cats on a small rural farm. Whether born there or simply surviving there, life was never easy. When Critter Cavalry Rescue stepped in to help, Cali was one of the lucky ones who got her second chance. She arrived with a severe eye infection that required surgery to remove her damaged eye, but she hasn’t let that slow her down one bit. Once a feral cat who had never known human affection, Princess Cali has blossomed into a gentle, affectionate, and trusting companion thanks to her patient foster mom. She now enjoys being held for longer periods and has learned that cuddles are wonderful. Her favorite gesture of affection? Sweet little kisses to let you know she’s grateful and happy. Cali is amazing with other animals and loves playing with the cats and dogs in her foster home. She’s learning what it means to be safe, loved, and cherished—and she’s ready to continue that journey with a forever family who will help her confidence grow even more. If you’re ready to be part of this beautiful transformation and give Princess Cali her happily ever after, email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com for an adoption form. You’ll be rewarded with a lifetime of gratitude, love, and purrs from this brave little survivor.October 31, 2025, 11:45 pm

Story
The Dog-Cat with a Heart of Gold Meet Freckles, a one-year-old Shorthair Calico who’s as unique as her name! This beautiful girl isn’t your average cat — she’s got the heart and humor of a dog wrapped in a soft, luxurious coat of orange, black, and white. Freckles is the kind of cat who will greet you at the door, follow you around the house, and even give you hugs and kisses. Yes, really — she’s that affectionate! Freckles loves to play with both dogs and cats, fitting right in with her furry friends. She’s known for her silly pranks, like gently swatting a passing foster dog and then acting totally innocent — as if to say, “Who, me?” Her playful, easygoing personality makes her the perfect companion for anyone looking for a cat who keeps life lighthearted and full of love. When she’s not entertaining you with her antics, Freckles is a total cuddlebug. Her semi-long fur is incredibly soft, and she’ll happily snuggle up close for pets and purrs. She’s also litter box trained and well-mannered, making her an easy and joyful addition to any home. If you’ve ever dreamed of having a “dog-cat” — loyal, loving, funny, and full of character — Freckles is your girl. She’s ready to bring laughter, comfort, and endless affection to her forever family.   Contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.comOctober 29, 2025, 10:54 pm
