Philomenia loves humans and will shower you with affection. She loves to wind in and out of your legs..  Philomenia also enjoys having a human companion to watch her eat (it's a perfect meal mate date, but you have to cover the bill).  She loves to play with toys and will sit beside you for a short time—just make sure not to rub her flanks. Spooky is the coolest cat in the world, and everyone who has ever met her agrees. Spooky came into our care after she could not be released as part of a "catch and release" program in Indiana due to sudden vision loss during her spay procedure. Her name is Spooky because she died on the table, but was resuscitated and came back to life. While she woke up missing some of her eyesight, she gets around just fine, and most folks have no idea she is blind until I tell them. She can see shadows and bright lights from what we can tell, and does all the typical "cat" things like climb and jump off furniture and objects. She recently developed a seizure disorder that we medicate for. She has not had a seizure since, and the medication is only $7/every 3 months. We unfortunately have to rehome due to an upcoming move where cats are not allowed.

Jennie/Boots was adopted from the GAHS in 2020 @ 4 yrs of age (ID (xxx) xxx-xxxx 9). She has developed behavioral issues over the past 2 years which have become increasingly worse. She does her "business" away from her box as often as 3-4 times a week, but it is increasing for unknown reasons. She has two large litter boxes which are cleaned twice a day. Owners are elderly, retired and home all day. Boots has seen the Vet. annually. She requires a quiet environment, low allergen food, and privacy for her litter box(es). She likes having a private, quiet place to sleep. She requires little brushing and will not damage rugs or furniture. She does not like to be handled, held or picked up. She will strike out if held. She enjoys getting brushed and head and chin scratches.
