Mawey is a super sweet cat and loves affection from time to time but is also very independent. She is apprehensive when meeting new pets and it may take her a few days to a week to get used to them but she will adapt. She has had a few pet roommates before. She gets along super well with men and women and has no problem being around children. She’s got a little feisty playful side to her but she mostly loves to lay around and eat!

We have bonded calico sisters named Bean and Sprout (they’re very responsive to their names), they’re about 4 and are very friendly to people but they fight with the three other cats we have. They were bottle fed as kittens so they enjoy being held and fall asleep in your arms if you let them. They always greet us at the door and are so sweet. The only behavior issues we’ve seen from them are from not getting along with the other cats the last year since we downsized our home.

**We are currently doing a special for the month of October where her adoption fee is reduced to $75** Meet Mew! Mew (named after the adorable Pokemon and for the cute noises Mew makes) is such a sweet and beautiful kitten. She has a lot of spunk and personality and loves to play! She would love to find a home of her own where she can be the star of the show! Mew does need a special home. She tested positive for FIV which stands for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus. This means she will have a weakened immune system which can lead her to be more prone to infections. Despite this, she can still live a full and happy life! FIV is transmitted to other cats via bite wounds. While we do not think Mew would bite another cat, this isn't something we can control and we want to keep everyone protected. Therefore, we will not adopt her out to a home that has cats in the home *unless* if they are also FIV positive. She can go to a home with dogs as FIV cannot be transmitted to dogs.  We believe Mew is about 4 months old. She is spayed, current on vaccines, and has a negative fecal test (negative for all parasites).  The $125.00 adoption fee ( payable by cash or check only ) includes: spay/neuter; vaccinations; microchip; fecal testing w/ giardia, flea prevention, and FIV/FeLV testing.  Our adoption application may be found by going to: www.headinhomerescue.org; then click on the link to the adoption application. Gnarles a lovable cat who brings so much personality to our home. We’re rehoming him due to allergies affecting the kids, so we can’t keep him comfortably. We’re looking for a caring home that will give him lots of love, playtime, and cozy spots to relax.

I got here when I was 15 old she is my baby. She is such an amazing companion. Never scratched or bit anyone or anything. Enjoys lots of cuddles and kisses. She is 6 years old a calico. My family went through some financial issues and can no longer afford her. I am looking for someone who will be kind and love her company. She doesn’t need a lot. Just some food and water and petting here and there. She is more of an indoor cat. She is already trained on how to use her kitty litter box. She likes it to be very clean.

Loretta (Reta) is approx. 14 months old. She is friendly, playful, social, & sweet. Retta loves attention and is all about the treats! She also can be calm when the household is calm. It will be important that Retta has another cat to play with. However, we are trying to keep her with her mom, Dolly - age 18 months (shown in pic #3 and has a profile also), as they are very bonded. Retta does well around dogs who don’t have a chase drive. She ignores them for the most part! We are not asking for a re-homing fee; however, we have multiple items that can go with the cats if they go to the same home (asking $40 or best offer): double automatic cat feeder, two litter boxes/scoops, cat waste geenie, food container (may have food depending when they go to their new home), a bed, and 1 small cat tower. Dolly is approximately 18 months old. She is calm, friendly, & loves to sit on laps. Dolly is more reserved & shy; however, does great once she is familiar with others. Dolly is just overall a great cat & extremely sweet! Dolly does not need to be around other cats; however, we are trying to keep her with her daughter, Loretta “Retta” (also has a profile if interested, but also shown in pic #4). They are very bonded and have been together since Retta’s birth (approx. 14 months). Dolly does well around dogs who don’t have a chase drive. She overall ignores them! We are not asking for an adoption fee; however, we have items that can go with the cats (if both are taken by the same family) that we are asking $40 for all the items, which include: double automatic cat feeder, two litter boxes/scoops, cat waste geenie, 1 small cat tower, 1 bed, food storage container (maybe food depending on when they go to their new home.
