Story
Little Guy is a very friendly stray that started visiting my yard last year. I believe he is around 3 years old. I am looking to re-home him because I found out that he is FIV positive after taking him to the vet for a broken leg. I wanted to adopt him but I have an 18 year old cat who can’t be exposed. Little Guy needs to be an inside only cat because his leg break was pretty severe. It is in the last stages of healing, currently. Little Guy needs a home with a little extra love where he is the only cat, or with other FIV positive cats. He can also be around dogs. He does alright with children but can get overstimulated. He loves to look out the window and watch birds and he is very food motivated. He is also playful and sweet. He is updated on all of his shots, de-wormed, no parasites, and he is neutered.

Story
Cheeto was born in September 2017 in Dayton, OH. My sisters college roommate brought him home but then realized they could not have a cat in the dorm. I was living by myself in an apartment so I took him in temporarily; but ending up keeping him until now. We moved to Grand Rapids in 2020, then moved in with my fiance; (and cat and dog) in 2023. We tried to make it work, but Cheeto has not been able to adjust to the new surroundings and animals, as he really wants to be an only child. Cheeto is so sweet and cuddly, loves getting pets and attention. He is silly and will play sometimes, but really enjoys sitting next to you (or on you) while you read, watch tv, or nap. He loves to greet you, and headbutt you (nicely) to ask for more pets. He may be shy at first, but really just wants undivided attention.

Her name is Poco Precioso, Poco for short. She was born in a barn litter, nursed as a baby because she was very young when taken from mom. She has a ton of personality, very talkative and has a nick name of “sassy.” She’s very well trained and clean. She loves attention, very cuddly and social. She will rub against your legs and follow you around, she’s a great best friend.

Story
Meet T.C. — short for “The Cat!” Yes, his name is literally The Cat…and we think that makes him even more adorable. T.C. is a 9-week-old little guy who is sweet, playful, curious, and always ready for some kitten-sized fun. He loves to play, explore and soak up attention from his people. T.C. did test positive for FIV, but don’t let those three letters keep you from falling in love with him! Because he is still so young, his positive test could be from antibodies passed along from his mom, and he may test negative when he is older. And even if T.C. remains FIV+, FIV-positive cats can live long, happy lives. T.C. has no idea he’s “different.” He just knows there are toys to chase, people to cuddle and a whole lot of adventures waiting for him. Give The Cat a chance to become YOUR cat.   ##2817410##

Story
Meet Whiskers! Whiskers is an adorable 9-week-old little guy who is full of happiness, playfulness, and all the kitten mischief you could ask for. Whiskers recently tested positive for FIV, but please don’t let those three letters scare you away! Because Whiskers is still so young, a positive FIV test does not necessarily mean he actually has FIV. Young kittens can test positive due to antibodies passed along from their mother, and repeat testing when he is older may show that he is negative. And even if Whiskers does remain FIV+, FIV-positive cats can live long, happy lives! Whiskers doesn’t know there is anything “different” about him. He just knows he wants to play, explore, cause a little kitten chaos, and eventually curl up with someone who loves him. Please don’t let an FIV test keep this sweet baby from finding his forever family. Whiskers is FIV+. Whiskers is also happy. Whiskers is playful. Whiskers is lovable. And most importantly, Whiskers is just a kitten looking for a home.   ##2817408##
