Olive is a friendly, mellow 8-year-old indoor cat who has been with our family since we found her abandoned as a kitten. She is wonderful with children, family, and visitors and often comes out to greet guests. She loves being petted, sitting on laps, sleeping near people, watching out windows, and lying in the sun. We are rehoming Olive because she has become unhappy since we added a second dog and does not get along with him. She is relaxed and affectionate when he is not around. She would likely do best in a home without dogs, although a calm dog may be okay with a slow introduction. She is spayed, healthy, litter-box trained, quiet, and has never been destructive.

Topaz will follow her humans from room to room meowing for some extra love, but when you need a break from your little princess, she's also more than happy to make herself comfortable beside a window and get lost in her kitty thoughts 😸🐦 Topaz is well rounded and will soak up all the pets, participate in a bit of playtime, and then enjoy some sunbathing ☀️ Topaz is a confident girly and is both cat and dog friendly! While it's not a requirement, she can be adopted out with her friend, Jade 💕

Oh Sammie is a lover. He is a bit shy but loves to be around me. I have asthma now and I can no longer live with cats. He loves to sit on his owner's lap and purrs when you pet him. He is 2.5 years old and is potty trained, neutered and is up to date on all his shots. He loves his toys and kibbles. You will enjoy him so much. Please open your heart to him.

Zoey was a kitten of a pregnant stray cat my sister took in- she was born July 15th 2024. Zoey is not a huge cuddler but she absolutely loves to play with humans and other cats. She has never been around dogs so I am unsure how she would do. Zoey is playful, curious and sleepy.

Bubbles is an active kitten born the first week of August 2026. She is the only female is her litter born with two male kittens both are now gone. She is still with her mom cat and always has been same with mom cat who is also the same colors as bubbles. She loves to play and uses the litter box. She drinks a lot of water and eats only friskies , and right now it’s tender basted filled cat food mix.

Meet Natalie! 🐾 Natalie is a beautiful 3-month-old calico kitten with gorgeous markings and a heart full of love. Found all alone on the streets, she’s now safe in foster care and discovering how wonderful life can be. She’s friendly, though a little shy at first, and once she feels comfortable, her playful personality shines. Natalie especially loves spending time with the adult cats in her foster room and would be thrilled to find a home with a big brother or sister to show her the ropes . She would do best in a home with no dogs and children over the age of 10. Harper is a spayed female Gray DSH Kitten. Generally kitten season blossoms in June with approximately 60 in foster. By August and September, we peak with approximately 90 kittens. We have several dedicated volunteers who accept applications for kittens and try to match them up with foster kittens. We then set up meet and greets for fosters and families prior to the kittens being ready for adoption. All of our kittens are adopted after they are 3 months old AND they are spayed/neutered. All of the medical care and surgery expenses are covered by donations to Volunteers For Animals. Their adoption fee is $100 (cash or checks only). If you are interested in a kitten, we suggest you email us so that we can begin the process of matching for you. This is an involved process so please do not call the Shelter. Your email will be forwarded to our dedicated volunteers who will then send you details including an adoption application. You can Contact Us through the website to start the process. Henry is an adult neutered male orange and white domestic short hair.  This handsome boy was with us a couple of years ago. He was adopted and sadly brought back because his dad needs to go into assisted living. Henry is quiet and undemanding.
