Tabby kittens & cats in Batavia, New York

Bingo won the lottery! He was rescued on my property before the harsh winter settled in. 9 months in and he is now fully domesticated. We successfully reached our goal; hence, he is ready for adoption to a responsible loving home, indoors only. He is a 3 yr old male brown tabby 10 lbs, microchipped, vetted, vaccinated, neutered and healthy. He is confident, trusting, affectionate, loving, playful, frisky, and food/treat driven. Unknown if he should be housed with other cats; however, he loves my dogs so I think he would be absolutely fine with another cat. He will be homed with his personal belongings including his cat tree house. My mission is providing a safe haven for my rescues while ensuring they are spayed/neutered. I live in rural country and I rescue on average 1-2 cats per year. Location: Bethany, NY (near Batavia, NY).

Lola is a well-behaved indoor/outdoor cat is easygoing, independent, and low maintenance. She enjoys having the freedom to explore outdoors while also being comfortable and content indoors. She is easy to care for, doesn’t require constant attention, and is happy to relax on her own or enjoy some affection when she wants it. She would make a wonderful companion for someone looking for a laid-back cat who fits easily into everyday life.She is 2 years old, gets along well with dogs and people a like!

Charlotte is a sweetheart. She and her sister came to us when they were 7 weeks old. Charlotte is now 5 and being targeted by her sister. She is terrified and hides in our room. She is a love and enjoys a calm, peaceful environment free of other pets. Her anxiety and fear is not fair to her. We are looking for a new home for her where she can feel safe and loved.

Hello meet Kitana and Jade they are a bonded pair of sisters and cannot be separated. Kitana is a huge lover she loves cuddles and sometimes doesn’t know personal space Jade is the opposite she loves alone time and prefers not to be picked up. You can cut Kitanas nails and dress her up but Jade would prefer you don’t do it to her. They are litter trained and love toys. They were both born April 16th 2025.

Gatsby The Ultimate Lap Cat with a Heart of Gold Gatsby is a stunning red tabby born on November 18, 2024, and hes every bit as sweet as he looks. This gentle boy absolutely adores being close and will happily spend hours curled up in a warm lap, purring softly and soaking up every bit of love he can get. Hes the kind of cat who makes any day better just by being nearaffectionate, calm, and endlessly loving. Gatsby would like to be an only cat and would be happiest in a quiet home with older children (12+) who can appreciate his tender, snuggly nature. He prefers a dog-free environment where he can relax and be the cherished center of attention. He is neutered, has age appropriate vaccine, parasite treated, tested negative for both FIV and FeLV and microchipped, Gatsby is ready to fill his forever home with warmth, comfort, and the sweetest lap cuddles imaginable. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ PLEASE READ: 1) I do home visits for all the cats/kittens for adoption. Meeko is a sweet, loving, and playful cat who loves attention and affection. He is 8 years old and we got him from PetSmart when he was about 5 months old or so. He loves to lay on your lap and be rubbed up on. He enjoys playing with his cat tree and little mice or spring toys. He has not had any health issues since we’ve had him. He has been an amazing cat and we love him so much so it’s very hard for us to have to do this. The reason we need to rehome him is because he has scratched our toddler’s face multiple times, nearly missing his eye. We also now have a newborn so it can be difficult to keep eyes on Meeko at all times. I believe Meeko would be great with kids who are older and can understand not to be so rough, just as he is with adults! Meeko is great with other cats as well. We want him to go to a home that would give him lots of love and attention.

Harper is a spayed female Gray DSH Kitten. Generally kitten season blossoms in June with approximately 60 in foster. By August and September, we peak with approximately 90 kittens. We have several dedicated volunteers who accept applications for kittens and try to match them up with foster kittens. We then set up meet and greets for fosters and families prior to the kittens being ready for adoption. All of our kittens are adopted after they are 3 months old AND they are spayed/neutered. All of the medical care and surgery expenses are covered by donations to Volunteers For Animals. Their adoption fee is $100 (cash or checks only). If you are interested in a kitten, we suggest you email us so that we can begin the process of matching for you. This is an involved process so please do not call the Shelter. Your email will be forwarded to our dedicated volunteers who will then send you details including an adoption application. You can Contact Us through the website to start the process. We are all volunteers and our dedicated kitten volunteers are diligent about responding to all inquiries. Henry is an adult neutered male orange and white domestic short hair.  This handsome boy was with us a couple of years ago. He was adopted and sadly brought back because his dad needs to go into assisted living. Henry is quiet and undemanding.
