Story
Wilson is a beautiful Orange Tabby cat. He is so friendly and a great cat. He is 11 years old now and is looking for a forever home with someone that he can cuddle with. He will do very well with kids. He loves people so much, and he purrs all day. I would say to have him be the only cat. That is preferred for him at this stage. He is up to date on all shots and vet visits. We will include food, litter, feeder, food storage, and litter box to a good home.

Story
Velvet was rescued from a home that couldn’t take care of her when she was born. She has had a very good life but we have 2 young children so we cannot give her the attention she needs. Great with kids and loves snuggles!

Story
My mom's cats, they are twins, boy/girl. I need her to move in with me and need to rehome them. They have been around kids but hide mostly. Picture 1 is Mimi and picture 2 is Jax. They were born May of 2021. I have a dog that doesn't like cats, looking for a good home for them and piece of mind for my mom.

Story
This is very hard for me to do… I love Lucy but my health will not allow me to keep her. On top of allergies I have other issues that will not allow me to give her the love she deserves. I want to make sure she is loved and taken care of ! Lucy is a chunker she is house trained she is good with larger dogs she just lives her life and gives you attention when she wants to. She is a perfect cat for someone who lives alone and wants a companion. She is a little older than 11 so she wouldn’t be a good first cat because of her age however she is very low maintenance and a lover girl! She’s definitely a girls girl ! She loves females and is very standoff-ish with men! Again it kills me to do this but I can no longer be around her hair or litter

Story
i got him from Verona street 14 years ago for my 21st birthday! He has traveled all over with me. He is a good boy who has gotten along with many other dogs and cats, my daughter and my nieces and nephews. he's a great family pet. never had any health issues other than a random uti. doesnt spray or damage the home at all. He's sweet, can be shy at first, but looooves pets once he's comfy. Enjoys hanging out in the same room as his people. We are only rehoming him because my family (fiance, daughter, grandmother) all have severe allergies that continue to get worse. =(

Story
Beautiful 3 year old female cat looking for a loving new home. She is affectionate with people, enjoys attention, and has been well cared for. She is litter trained, up to date on veterinary care, and healthy. She has been struggling with the recent addition of another cat to the household and appears happiest as the only pet. Because of this, I am seeking a calm home where she can be the sole cat and receive plenty of one-on-one attention. This is a difficult decision being made in her best interest. I am committed to finding the right home and will ask questions to ensure a good match

Story
Dahlin is a spayed female Black and White DSH Kitten. Generally kitten season blossoms in June with approximately 60 in foster. By August and September, we peak with approximately 90 kittens. We have several dedicated volunteers who accept applications for kittens and try to match them up with foster kittens. We then set up meet and greets for fosters and families prior to the kittens being ready for adoption. All of our kittens are adopted after they are 3 months old AND they are spayed/neutered. All of the medical care and surgery expenses are covered by donations to Volunteers For Animals. Their adoption fee is $100 (cash or checks only). If you are interested in a kitten, we suggest you email us so that we can begin the process of matching for you. This is an involved process so please do not call the Shelter. Your email will be forwarded to our dedicated volunteers who will then send you details including an adoption application. You can Contact Us through the website to start the process. We are all volunteers and our dedicated kitten volunteers are diligent about responding to all inquiries. We appreciate your patience.   Here is the adoption process:   To adopt an animal you must complete an application and be approved. There is a $100 fee for any county animal which needs to be cash or a check - NO CREDIT CARDS. If the animal is not spayed or neutered, there is a $35 deposit which will be returned upon proof of surgery. All dogs must be licensed before leaving the Shelter. Please note that public offices that issue dog licenses are not open on Saturdays and Sundays. All cats must leave in a carrier.   Thank you for considering a homeless animal.June 26, 2026, 8:05 am
