Tabby kittens & cats in Batavia, New York

Bingo won the lottery! He was rescued on my property before the harsh winter settled in. 9 months in and he is now fully domesticated. We successfully reached our goal; hence, he is ready for adoption to a responsible loving home, indoors only. He is a 3 yr old male brown tabby 10 lbs, microchipped, vetted, vaccinated, neutered and healthy. He is confident, trusting, affectionate, loving, playful, frisky, and food/treat driven. Unknown if he should be housed with other cats; however, he loves my dogs! He will be homed with his personal belongings including his cat tree house. My mission is providing a safe haven for my rescues while ensuring they are spayed/neutered. I live in rural country and I rescue on average 1-2 cats per year. Location: Bethany, NY (near Batavia, NY).

Honeybun is a sweet girl who loves attention. She has lived in a house with other cats and dogs, big and small. She was adopted from a rescue as a kitten. She is approximately 2 years old and weighs about 9 lbs. Her owner is on hospice right now and needs to find a home asap.

Wilson is a beautiful Orange Tabby cat. He is so friendly and a great cat. He is a senior cat and is looking for a forever home with someone that he can cuddle with. He will do very well with kids. He loves people so much, and he purrs all day. I would say to have him be the only cat. That is preferred for him at this stage. He is up to date on all shots and vet visits. We will include food, litter, feeder, food storage, and litter box to a good home.

Meet Lia a great loving cat she is 2 years old, and her breed is a tabby cat she is very nice and kind and gentle and would be happy to move on to another loving family she is being rehomed because we would like a change in our living situation this was a difficult decision but we want to make sure she finds a nice loving caring family who will care for her if you are interested in giving her a forever home please reach out to us we would love to find her a family right away.

Leo is a little shy at first and then on about day 3 he’s totally comfortable. He’s very energetic and loves to play. He also loves to cuddle when it’s time for a nap.

Very easy going and has never been aggressive

Onyx is a spayed female adult domestic short hair with a sweet disposition who loves to be petted. In June she turned up pregnant and very thin in a foster's car at a farm in Bergen. Onyx gave birth to 3 kittens later that same day, but sadly only one survived. Despite her tough start, Onyx became the best first time mom any kitten could have. She loves treats and all types of food, but tends to eat too fast (perhaps due to her time being hungry as a stray). Onyx is very curious, and enjoys playing with toys she can catch or chase. Onyx enjoyed playing and snuggling with older children while in foster, and will probably do well with families and cats who enjoy other cats. Onyx was not a fan of the foster's indoor rabbit. Come and meet this sweetheart who will snuggle her way into your family!    Here is the adoption process:   To adopt an animal you must complete an application and be approved. There is a $100 fee for any county animal which needs to be cash or a check - NO CREDIT CARDS. If the animal is not spayed or neutered, there is a $35 deposit which will be returned upon proof of surgery. All dogs must be licensed before leaving the Shelter. Please note that public offices that issue dog licenses are not open on Saturdays and Sundays. Rusty is an adult spayed female brown tiger, torti domestic short hair.  Rusty came in with a nasty infection and had to be spayed as soon as possible. After some good vet care and a round of antibiotics, she is doing so much better. She is not a big fan of being held and restrained but she does come out to greet you and enjoys the company of volunteers.      Here is the adoption process:   To adopt an animal you must complete an application and be approved. Jasmine is an 8 month spayed female brown tabby domestic short hair. Because of the ongoing construction at the shelter Jasmine spent time in a foster home, with her sister Phoebe, after being surrendered. Her foster mom reports that she is very people oriented and lovey. She wants to be petted all the time, and really leans into it. She got along very well with the other adult cats in her foster home. She is a bit uncomfortable in noisy or “busy” situations, and startles easily. She does not like being picked up. We don’t know how she would react to a dog. Jasmine would do best in a quiet home without young children, and with patient people who will give her time to blossom. She is not particularly bonded to her sister and wouldn’t mind going her own way. She might adjust to a very calm, older dog who would give her space. And she probably would like the company of other cats, as they would have a calming influence on her.   Here is the adoption process:   To adopt an animal you must complete an application and be approved.
