Sammie is a sweet 17 year old whom I adopted via Facebook 3 years ago. The original owner said she had developed allergies to Sammie and had to give her up right away. After I brought Sammie home I checked with the Veterinary info I was given but they said they had no record of Sammie. So I unfortunately do not have any health history for her. Sammie seemed to thrive until about 4-5 months ago. In addition to using the litter box she began toileting outside of it and occasionally on furniture. She also began to lose weight and is not as spry as she used to be. Due to financial issues I not only have to leave my home but cannot afford to give Sammie the veterinary care she might need. My next place already has a cat there and despite introducing them it caused Sammie some stress which wouldn’t be good for her. Sammie is an affectioncuddler who would benefit from caring family that can afford to give her the medical attention she might need so she can enjoy the rest of her senior years.

We rescued Tilly from a local cat shelter after one of our cats passed away. She will be turning 3yrs old this July. She is bonded with her 6yr old brother, Alex, who is also up for adoption and would like them to go together. She is a very vocal and loyal cat that loves to snuggle and escort you to the bathroom. When she get super excited she sometimes will drool. Tilly does have an allergy/sensitivity to salmon and fish flavored food. She does not like young children and will run and hide from them. I have a 2 yr old and another child on the way and its hard for her to be comfortable when shes always hiding from my son. Tilly has never been outside and never tries to get out even with doors wide open. She does love attention from adults and will talk to you until she gets petted.

Meet Shelby, a beautiful two-year-old calico girl who is still learning to feel safe around people. Most of the time she can be found quietly observing from her favorite spot, taking everything in around her. Every now and then, her playful side peeks through and she’ll come out to play. She is making progress with human touch and does allow pets, even though she is still a little unsure at times. Shelby has a very gentle nature - she simply needs patience as she continues building confidence and learning that people can be safe and loving. It’s very rewarding to see her slowly become more comfortable and curious. Shelby feels very comfortable around other cats, and you can often find her snuggling up with her feline friends. Because of this, we think a home with a friendly resident cat to help guide and comfort her would be ideal. Shelby will need a patient, understanding adopter who can give her the time and space she needs to blossom at her own pace.
