Story
Rainbow (dob 5/1/24) is sociable and loves attention. Just takes a few minutes to warm up to new people. She loves playing with the toys and tunnels and her other kitten friends. A quiet home environment would be best for Rainbow. She was at The Kitten Around Cat Lounge and it was a bit too overwhelming for her. Once she settles into her new home, you'll be tripping over her as she wraps around your legs for attention. If you need someone to talk to all day long...she's your girl! Up to date on age appropriate vaccines, deworming, and flea prevention. Spayed, Mama felv/fiv combo negative, and microchipped. First time pet owners, a personal reference is required. Must be over 21. Current pet owners, pets must be fixed and up to date with vaccines. Vet reference required. Story
Meet Ember (dob 12/28/24) If you're looking for a home that's never quiet and always full of personality, look no further than Ember. This stunning white and calico beauty doesn't just meow - she holds full blown conversations! Personality and Vocals: The Social Butterfly, Ember is a chatterbox who loves to tell you all about her day. Expressive Soul: From soft chirps to bold demands for attention, she uses her voice to make sure she's the center of your world. Affectionate Companion: She isn't just about the talk, she's looking for a lap to land on and a human to listen to her stories. Her Forever Home: Ember is officially on the hunt for a permanent residence where her vocal talents will be appreciated. She would do best in a home where her humans are home often enough to chat back and she can get plenty of chin scratches and interactive playtime. Why settle for a quiet house when you could have a best friend who actually talks back? Ember is ready to pack her bags (an her many opinions) and move in. Are you ready to start the conversation? Up to date on age appropriate vaccines, deworming, and flea prevention. Spayed and Felv/Fiv combo negative. Microchipped First time pet owners, a personal reference is required. Must be over 21. Current pet owners, pets must be fixed and up to date with vaccines. Vet reference required. Come meet me at The Kitten Around Cat Lounge in Carthage!

Story
Karate (dob 3/25/24) is a little bit shy but will thrive once she gets into her new home and routine and learns to love her new family. Karate needs a patient home, preferably with another cat. She tends to be more brave with a more confident cat around. Loves to make biscuits. She is in a foster home with children, cats, and dogs and would do best with a calm, knowledgeable adopter. She loves her toys and her hammock and is a quiet, sweet little girl Update: We are so proud of Karate! She’s still a shy girl, but has warmed up to people and will allow you to pet her. Up to date on age appropriate vaccines, flea prevention, and deworming; Mama Felv/Fiv combo neg First time pet owners, a personal character reference is required. Must be over 21. Current pet owners, pets must be fixed and up to date with vaccines. Vet reference required. Story
Bloom (dob 5/20/24) is shy, but you can pick her up and snuggle her. She will take a moment to settle into her new home. Bloom would prefer a quiet, calm household so she can take her time to settle in. Bloom has a chronic kitty cold that will act up now and then. It is best for her to be an only cat in the household. Up to date on age appropriate vaccines, deworming, and flea prevention. Spayed and felv/fiv negative. First time pet owners, a personal reference is required. Must be over 21. Story
Meet Sadie,---A soft, friendly, gentle, brave little girl. Sadie was born in May of 2025 and had a rough start to life with her sister Shadow. She was born to a feral Mom and was caught with her sister in the beginning of August. Her first encounter with humans was getting caught in a cage and then spayed. That is why her ear is notched. She has been doing well at her foster home and is brave enough to want to play and be petted. Sadie is happy and rubs on her fosters legs when he comes into the room. She shows signs of being able to get along with other felines and loves hanging with her sister. Sadie is very curious about the world around her and is brave enough to explore it and while she is not a lap kitty yet, she loves to play especially with a pointer, balls, and toys on a string. She would bloom in a house that was patient and kind with her and is waiting for someone who finds joy in the simple wins and patient love. Could this be you? Up to date on age appropriate vaccines, deworming, and flea prevention. Spayed and Felv/fiv combo negative. First time pet owners, a personal reference is required. Must be over 21. Current pet owners, pets must be fixed and up to date with vaccines. Vet reference required. Story
Rehoming 9 year old spayed calico cat. We adopted her when she was just a kitten. She is a sweet cat, but never really came out of her shell. She does not do well with dogs or kids, but was great with our other cat who passed a couple of years ago. They used to play constantly and she would always be out roaming around. Now she only leaves her safe space when the dogs are in their crates or outside. She is bravest at night when the dogs are sleeping and she'll come out to explore a bit. She is litter box trained. I really believe she would thrive in a home with a single person or couple with no other animals or with only cats. We want her to have a more fulfilling life as she just can't relax here.
