Meet Delilah (“Dally”) – A Gentle Calico with a Devoted Best Friend 🧡🖤🤍Delilah, lovingly known as Dally, is a gorgeous calico with a soft, tender spirit.Purrfect Haven Cat Rescue & TNR received a call from a compassionate woman who had been feeding five social cats living in an abandoned, broken-down home through the winter. With the house scheduled for demolition, these cats were at risk of being left out with nowhere to go. We stepped in, got them fully vetted, and brought them into the safety of a loving foster home.Dally’s story is one of quiet resilience. After everything she endured—living in a dark, damp, unsafe home where people weren’t always kind—she arrived understandably shut down and unsure of the world around her. But through it all, her best friend Emerson (“Emmy”), a beautiful dilute calico, never left her side. Emmy gently comforted Dally, helping her feel safe again and reminding her she wasn’t alone.Now, Dally is beginning to blossom. She is incredibly sweet, gentle, and forms deep bonds with those she trusts. Her soft nature and loving heart make her truly special.Dally and Emmy share an unbreakable bond, and it’s clear they find strength in each other. I came with my brother Maurice in October 2024. We were both very afraid. I am more outgoing than my brother and he is always by my side. I give him confidence and I hope someone would open their heart and home to us both. I am shy, but am learning people are okay and, I am curious about people. I was found as a younger kitten outside, so I have never known what a real home is like. And meeting new people is getting easier to let down my guard.

This big, handsome boy is McGinnis. He came to us with his brother, Catmandu after they were found by a landlord whose tenant moved out and left them behind. Despite that, they are both incredibly friendly and affectionate, never wanting to leave you for a second! Catmandu has since been adopted, but McGinnis is still here looking for a family to love forever!
