Story
Bella is a breathtaking calico girl with a story that stays with you long after you hear it. She is only three years old, yet she has already endured more than most cats ever should. Bella is a true rescue — a survivor through every struggle she has faced. She was rescued in the middle of a thunderstorm, her small body curled over her one and only kitten, shielding her baby from the rain as she lay in the leaves. Even in fear and exhaustion, Bella chose protection over herself. Shortly after coming into rescue, Bella’s body stopped producing milk. Her kitten had to be rushed to a tube feeder to survive. Though her baby lived, Bella’s heart quietly broke. She became withdrawn and sad — yet something beautiful emerged from her pain. Bella became fiercely protective of every kitten and young cat that entered the rescue, as if vowing no baby would ever feel unsafe again. Bella wants love. She truly does. She enjoys being petted and seeks affection, but when she becomes overstimulated, she may shy away or gently bat a hand — not out of meanness, but out of fear and uncertainty. Bella speaks “cat language” fluently, and she needs a human who understands it too. She is perfect with the litter box, using any kind of litter without issue. Bella also has a soft spot for dogs and absolutely adores the rescue’s mini poodle, showing us that she has room in her heart for gentle animal companions. We are searching for a very special adopter 🙏🏻— someone patient, kind, and willing to let Bella set the pace. Someone who understands that trust is earned, not demanded. Bella does not belong in a barn. She shows us more every day that she wants human connection, reassurance, and safety. She just needs to believe it will last. If you truly want to rescue — not just adopt — and change a cat’s life forever, Bella is the one. She deserves a second chance at a forever filled with patience, compassion, and quiet love. 🖤 Location: Copley Ohio

Story
Meet Gracie ! Gracie is super outgoing and loving. She has a very quiet meow but don’t think that means she doesn’t want your attention - she will follow you around and wants to be your best friend. Gracie still has a lot of energy and loves to play. She is very food motivated and has a particular affinity for pate canned food. Gracie loves to be petted and will lean into your love and affection, so if you’re looking for your next best feline friend, look no further! Gracie is around a year old and cat friendly. The only reason Gracie hasn’t found a home yet is because of her weepy eye, a symptom caused by Calicivirus, though this shouldn’t cause any long-term issues for her. She can live with other cats as long as they are up to date on vaccines, but she would be perfectly happy as an only cat. Adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, microchip, FeLV/FIV testing (negative), deworming, flea treatment and vaccinations. If interested in adopting, send in an application. We will reach out once your application is reviewed. https://www.allaboutthepawz.com/copy-of-adoption-application-1 Located in Youngstown, Ohio - must be within an hour of Youngstown. *Resident pets must be fixed and up to date on age appropriate vaccines* All adopters are provided with: - Small bag of dry food to transition - Veterinary records - Microchip registration packet - Information on how to introduce cats in a multi-pet household and on acclimating a new cat successfully in your home

Story
Teddy is an absolute doll! Although he and his cat friend "Soldier" had a rough start to life, Teddy is ready to be spoiled rotten! He's an incredibly affectionate kitty who will crawl into your lap and rub up against your face, asking for pets. Teddy gets his name from being super cuddly! He would do best as an indoor-only, or indoor-outdoor cat. Teddy is an FIV positive senior kitty who has already had one dental procedure to remove approximately 1/2 his teeth. He needed this procedure because he has been diagnosed with Stomatitis. He may require another dental procedure in the future to remove or clean his remaining teeth. He has been neutered, microchipped, tested for FIV/FeLV (positive for FIV, negative for FeLV), updated on shots, and up-to-date on flea/tick treatment and dewormer. For being an older kitty, he still has plenty of energy and enjoys playing and cuddling. He and his friend Soldier will make very rewarding family members, so please consider adopting this pair today!

Story
Soldier was found outside, very skinny and in bad shape. He had major wounds all over his body, chunks missing from his ears, patches of hair missing, and deep scratches all over his face and body. He had been fighting for his life outside and has had a rough start. But despite this, he was incredibly friendly and loving with people and wanted a home where he could be indoor or indoor/outdoor. If you are looking to give a senior cat (and his senior friend, Teddy) a spoiled and loving rest of their lives, look no further than this deserving pair. Soldier is so affectionate - he will want to be wherever you are, even if he's just laying by your feet. He loves to be petted and closes his eyes in complete satisfaction when he has his chin or ears scratched. Soldier LOVES food and treats, and rolling in fresh catnip. Even though he has a rough exterior, his great personality will steal your heart! Soldier has gained a lot of weight and needs to be kept on a reasonably-strict diet with scheduled feedings. He may also require a dental procedure or special medications in the future being that he is FIV positive and an older cat. He will sometimes get scabs on his skin from scratching at it due to allergies and should be kept up-to-date on flea/tick medication if going outside. Soldier has been neutered, microchipped, tested for FIV/FeLV (positive for FIV, negative for FeLV), is up-to-date on vaccines, as well as flea/tick treatment and dewormer. Please consider applying for him and his best friend Teddy and giving this amazing, lovable pair a good home.
