Lucy is a very sweet old lady (age unknown due to adoption - could be middle age). She lives for attention and gets along well with other cats. Lucy can be held with no problem and rarely scratches unless she kneads too close to skin. The main thing to note with Lucy is that she is very sensitive and gets allergic reactions if not maintained well (like never cleaning the litter box). She is fixed and keeps herself very clean due to her OCD, so she doesn’t shed that much. This baby needs a forever home with people who are ready to give her all their attention and love! Lucy is listed for FREE due to being unable to put a price on this precious soul! She doesn’t need specific medications or food and loves to take couch naps! Loves treats & cuddles! <3

Meet Lucy, who can be a little grumpy at times when she is over stimulated. But is actually in fact sweet. She is a little on the rounded side but just makes more of her to love. She would be better as a single cat in the home. She can tolerate another cat but she is definitely a dominant cat. Poor girl somehow found herself out on the street and she luckily was found and now she just needs someone that she can trust and someone who can love her. She is ready for a permanent home. Our cats are located in Foster homes and raised as part of our family. If interested in adopting from Fixing for the Future, please submit an application and someone will get back to you. Our rescue kitties are spayed/neutered, given age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped, FeLV/FIV tested, dewormed and given monthly flea and tick prevention.

My name is Violet. I was surrendered to the shelter by my previous owners along with my two babies. The rescue noticed us and didnt hesitate to bring us in. I am a super affectionate and sweet girl. Im very talkative. I love human attention and playing with toys. My foster mom has found I love wet food along with my normal dry food. I love being around other kitty friends. Hi, my name is Pumpkin. I got my name because I was found just before Halloween—tiny, scared, and hiding under a leaf along a walking trail. From that moment on, I’ve been loved and cared for in a quiet, cozy home. I’m about 10–12 years old now and have spent my whole life with my owners, who recently passed away. It’s been a big change for me, and I’m hoping to find a new forever home where I can feel safe and loved again. I’ve always been the only pet, so I’m used to having my people all to myself. Because of that, I would do best in a calm home without other cats, dogs, or small children. I can be a little possessive—but that’s just because I bond deeply and love “my person” with my whole heart. Benny came to us at age 5 months where we adopted him from a shelter. He is currently 8 years old. He has grown up with all of our kids and one other cat and has always been an indoor boy (although he loves going out on the porch with accompaniment to roll in the sun). He is a happy, healthy orange tabby boy with a Garfield like personality- he loves routine, his food bowl, LOTS of lap or bed snuggling, wet and dry food, and stalking birds and squirrels through the window. He is not declawed but is very good to use his scratching post. His purr is EPIC! He does have some anxiety issues that we think might be left over from his traumatic kitten days before adoption- he doesn’t like loud sounds and is frightened by young children. He’s never been around dogs. Benny would probably do best in a home where people are often around that love kitty snuggles and can give him steady, predictable routines. We are moving to Japan as missionaries and cannot take him overseas.
