Meet Tuffy — a wonderful 2 1/2‑year‑old female cat looking for a loving new home. She is spayed, vaccinated, and has been well cared for. Tuffy is a very affectionate girl who loves being petted and enjoys “talking” with her people. She’s quite vocal with her cute meows and loves attention. She’s been a great companion, and this is a difficult decision. Unfortunately, I’ve developed cat allergies and can no longer keep her, so I’m looking for someone who can give her the safe, stable home she deserves. There will be a very small rehoming fee to ensure she goes to a responsible adopter. If you’re interested in meeting Tuffy or have any questions, please reach out. Meet Lucy, who can be a little grumpy at times when she is over stimulated. But is actually in fact sweet. She is a little on the rounded side but just makes more of her to love. She would be better as a single cat in the home. She can tolerate another cat but she is definitely a dominant cat. Poor girl somehow found herself out on the street and she luckily was found and now she just needs someone that she can trust and someone who can love her. She is ready for a permanent home. Our cats are located in Foster homes and raised as part of our family. If interested in adopting from Fixing for the Future, please submit an application and someone will get back to you. Our rescue kitties are spayed/neutered, given age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped, FeLV/FIV tested, dewormed and given monthly flea and tick prevention.

Trixie’s world changed suddenly when her owner passed away. She lost everything familiar—her home, her routines, her person—and that kind of loss is confusing for anyone, especially a cat. When she first arrived, she was understandably quiet and unsure. But time, consistency, and kindness have done their work. Trixie has blossomed into a social butterfly. The worried eyes have softened, the fear has faded, and her true personality is shining through. She enjoys attention, engages with the world around her, and clearly remembers what it feels like to be loved—and she’s ready to share that love again. Trixie is FeLV positive, which simply means she’ll do best as an indoor-only cat, either as an only cat or with other FeLV+ companions. Many FeLV+ cats live happy, comfortable lives with the right environment—low stress, routine, and a caring home. What Trixie needs now isn’t a fixer. She doesn’t need saving. She just needs someone willing to say, “You’re safe here.”
