Calico kittens & cats in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania

I became aware of a litter of kittens in neighbors backyard around 1 June 2025. There were four kittens total, two orange and white tabby’s, and two calicos. The mother was an orange tabby and dad was a tuxedo. I started feeding them. When I noticed I no longer saw the mom or dad coming around I decided to try and capture and rehome them. I caught three, and have no idea what happened to the second tabby. The orange tabby I was able to catch I found a home for. Now it’s the girls turn. Boogie has a big orange patch on her chin. I caught her a couple weeks before her sister. She loves to play and is very curious about everything, stereotypical kitten. Sissy has the gold dot on her forehead. She is more cuddly than her sister. I love these two sweet girls but I’m only allowed one pet in my apartment and my cat doesn’t appreciate her new roommates. They are a bonded pair and I want them to stay together.

I might be considered semi-feral as I am okay with you coming close to feed me and change my litter box. I am fiv/felv negative, spayed, microchipped, and vaccinated. Dolores is a beautiful calico girl, She reminds me of a patchwork quilt. Her markings are beautiful. She’s very sweet. She gets along with other cats. She would make a really great pet for that cat loving family. She is fully vetted and feline leukemia tested negative. She is happy, healthy, and ready to go to her new home. Philomenia loves humans and will shower you with affection. She loves to wind in and out of your legs..  Philomenia also enjoys having a human companion to watch her eat (it's a perfect meal mate date, but you have to cover the bill).  She loves to play with toys and will sit beside you for a short time—just make sure not to rub her flanks. Squeaky was surrendered to the shelter when her owner sadly moved into a nursing home and could not take her with them. She is around 6 years old and is a sweet girl that would love to find another loving forever home soon! She is spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, FIV/Felv tested, and microchipped.

Carmine is a special boy, who was surrendered because his owner could no longer care for him. When Carmine arrived at the shelter he was very shut down. He didn`t understand what was going on or why he was here. We were told by his previous owner that he did occasionally have seizures, but they did not know why. He did have a rather long seizure here at the shelter, so bloodwork was done and he was examined by a Vet. It turns out that Carmine is almost completely blind, due to mature cataracts. There is a possibility that he can see some light. Carmine is on a medication for his seizures which is given once a day everyday. He does need to have regular bloodwork done to make sure that all his values are fine, so a good vet relationship is a must for his new family. Carmine is a sweet and trusting boy that loves to be held like a baby! He often seeks out attention when he hears someone in the room. He loves to eat and will need to be kept on a diet due to his medication being dependent on his weight. Carmine would love to find his special forever home! He has been neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, FIV/Felv tested, and microchipped.

Minion was surrendered to the shelter with several other cats when their owner could no longer care for them. He is around 2 years old and is a very sweet guy that would love to have a second chance at a loving forever home!
