Sweet pea is a sweet little girl. She is very friendly. She gets along with all the other little kitty cats. She is very beautiful. Also, she has been spayed. She has had her rabies vaccination. Mama Tao is a gorgeous and petite dilute calico female. She was found as a pregnant stray on the streets of Nashville, but acts like she’s been indoors her whole life. She enjoys looking out the window, scratching her cardboard scratching post, and lounging near people in gorgeous poses. Mama Tao is estimated to be 1-2 years old and still loves being picked up and carried around like a baby. She hasn’t figured out playing yet, though. She is litter trained and gets along with other cats and kids; she tolerates our dogs, but isn’t the biggest fan. If she joins a family with cats, she will tend towards being dominant. Meet Thea!Sometimes, a cat simply shows up where she’s not supposed to be - and somehow finds her way to the people who can help her. That’s what happened to Thea.This beautiful one-year-old girl wandered into a yard where two big dogs lived. Thea didn’t seem particularly bothered by them, but the homeowners were understandably worried that their dogs might hurt her. They brought her to us for safekeeping, hoping we could find her family.Unfortunately, no one ever came looking for Thea.We can’t imagine why, because it’s obvious that this lovely girl has been around people before. Thea is friendly, affectionate, and loves attention. She’s the kind of cat who makes you wonder how anyone could have let her get lost in the first place.And there’s something wonderful about adopting an adult cat like Thea. No kitten antics, no tiny paws getting into everything, and no guessing what her personality will be like. What you see is what you get - a beautiful, loving girl who is ready to settle into a home and give her people plenty of affection.Someone is going to get a really good one when they adopt Thea. My name is Stormy, and I’m a gorgeous, soft-furred sweetheart with a spirited streak and a heart full of love. My estimated birthday is February 18, 2020, and while I may be past the kitten stage, I bring the perfect blend of mellow affection and youthful playfulness. I’m the kind of cat who will make you feel like the center of my world. I’ll rub against your legs, gently bump my head into your hands, and curl up close just to be near you. When I’m especially happy, I’ll flop onto my side and roll over, inviting you to give me soft pets and scratch behind my ears. My love language? Gentle affection and quiet companionship Don’t let my calm demeanor fool you—I’ve got a playful side that lights up when a toy mouse appears. Give me a little space and a favorite toy, and I’ll come alive, batting, pouncing, and carrying it around like a proud hunter showing off her prize. I may be graceful, but I know how to have a good time! I do have a bit of a diva streak—if I get overstimulated, I might let you know with a swish of my tail or a sassy little swat. It is spread only between cats (not to people or other types of animals) through close contact like grooming, sharing bowls, or bite wounds. Because FeLV can weaken the immune system over time, FeLV+ kitties may be more prone to infections and need a little extra care. What does that mean for me? I should live indoors to stay safe and healthy. I should live with other FeLV+ cats or be the only cat in the home. I’ll need regular veterinary checkups to monitor my health. He is a little more reserved than his sister, but once comfortable, his sweet personality shines bright. He’s gentle, affectionate, and loves being petted. In fact, his purr motor seems to have a pretty easy on/off switch - it’s usually ON! He’s playful and curious, enjoys having little conversations, and especially loves playing with his sister Prada. Compared to her busy little personality, Armani is a bit more mellow and perfectly happy to mix kitten fun with plenty of cuddle time.
