🐱🍁 **Meet Maple — No Tail, No Problem!** 🍁🐱 We're not exactly sure how little Maple found her way onto our rescue director's property, but somehow, this tiny kitten appeared and decided she was going to stick around. At only about **3 months old**, Maple was understandably scared and wanted absolutely nothing to do with being caught. We tried, but every time someone got close... off she went. Then one day, one of our volunteers noticed a neighbor's cat bothering little Maple. She went over to shoo him away and realized something wasn't right... **Maple's tail was completely gone.** 💔 We still have no idea what happened to her or what this tiny girl experienced before finding us. Armed with the ultimate kitten negotiating tool—**wet food**—our volunteer slowly convinced Maple to come close enough to finally catch her. 😂 She was immediately taken to the vet, examined, and given the medication and care she needed. Today, her little tail area is **completely healed**, and Maple couldn't care less that she's missing it. As far as she's concerned, she was born fabulous this way. 💅 And once we got past that scared exterior? We discovered the SWEETEST little kitten. 🐾 About 3 months old 🐱 Cat friendly 🐶 Dog friendly ❤️ Super affectionate 🧶 Loves to play 🍗 **Really** loves her food ✨ Completely healed and thriving Maple went from running away from everyone to realizing that being rescued means unlimited love, toys, warm beds... and, most importantly, regular meals. 😂 She may be missing her tail, but she's certainly not missing any personality. Seriously, I’ll take all the rubs you’ve got. Derecha: My sister is a bit of a sweet mystery. She loves to play and cuddle on her own terms, but not big on being picked up. She’s shy, but she’s got a heart of gold.We’re a package deal-we come as a pair because we’re best buds! We have a clean bill of health from the vet, so we’re 100% ready for our next adventure.  We’re on the hunt for a loving, patient home with parents who understand that kittens = chaos, fun, and endless love. I found her in tall grass by the railroads. She is about 9-10 weeks old. I’m hoping she goes to an energetic home where she can find as much sting as she wants and tall things to climb. She’s super curious and can get bored easy so she will meow when that happens. She is litter box trained and all the toys and pet supplies i got while I had her will be given to who ever adopts her if they want/need.

Stevie walked up to the house a few years ago during one of the hottest San Antonio summers. She was taken to the vet and we soon discovered she was pregnant and weeks later delivered four kittens. The kittens found homes but Stevie, as a feral cat at the time, needed time to adjust to life indoors.Over time, she's started bonding with other cats and has become extremely affectionate. She loves being on your lap, with you on the couch or hanging out in the backyard with you. Stevie is smart, playful and loves to be by your side. She's also great with dogs of all sizes and kids.

Chilaquiles is 6 years old and about 12 lbs at her last vet visit. She is chipped but I never had an opportunity to register her chip to my phone number. I recently moved and my partner is highly allergic to cats. She is being “fostered” by my parents right now at their home but she has a difficult time getting along with their dog.
