Komorebi ("light filtered through the leaves") was a hungry, tiny one pound when rescued. She was ill and could have easily lost her battle then, but has too much passion for life to be held down. She doesn't just have a beautiful and unique coat pattern: she has nearly boundless energy for play and exploration, always eager to run and chase whatever she can. Shelley is three and half years, indoor kitty. We got her as a kitten, We have a dog with a high prey instinct. Thought we could make this work. Pets are rotated for safety. We want a better life for Shelley. She would do best in a quiet adult home, no other pets, no young children. She is friendly, shy and should warm up quickly. Once, she realizes, she is safe and cared for. Shelley, is affectionate, rolls and purrs. Shelley enjoys her people, windows, being sung too, lounging and watching tv with you. Favorites wand toys, small bouncy balls a comfy bed. We would like her to have a normal life and not be separated from her people. She comes with her belongings, Shelley is sweet and sassy. We are looking for her forever loving home, where she can hang with her people and feel safe. If for any reason, you do not bond, we want her back. We are looking for her best home, not any home. Elsie was only 13 months old when she became a mama cat though no fault of her own. She had 3 kittens with no place for them to grow up safely. Luckily, Elsie was rescued and taken in to be fostered with her 3 kittens so she could have plenty of food and a safe place for her kittens to grow up. Her kittens have been vetted and adopted so now it is Elsie's turn to be spayed and to find a safe home of her own. Elsie is very sweet with very soft hair. She enjoys being picked up and responds to attention from humans. Elsie has now been spayed, has received her rabies vaccination, Microchip, her FVRCP vaccinations and is now ready for her own home.Of course, she uses a litter box. She is fostered in a private home with other cats. Elsie would probably prefer a home where she is the star and can have all the attention. Elsie would like to be an indoor/outdoor cat. Hi, I’m Nitro! I was rescued with my two kittens. Despite being a mom, I’m still a kitten myself! I love to sit by the window and look outside. When the sun shines through, it’s time to sunbathe! And don’t forget about treats! Sometimes I think my foster parents forget about dinner, so I will go sit in the kitchen and meow to remind them. See what a good girl I am!

Cashew's life started in California at just 10 days old as an unwanted gift to someone in Austin. He came to San Antonio by way of a good Samaritan that knew he needed help. At Helotes Humane Society, his tiny dislocated shoulder was fixed and now he is a healthy, loving and sweet boy that you will likely wake up with tucked until the covers. He loves to settle on your chest for pets while reading or watching TV. He is doing great with the foster's adult dogs and cats, but is not wild about the 10 wk old foster puppy.
