Calico kittens & cats in Danville, Virginia

Check out our Facebook page for new pics daily. Mama Poppy and her 6 little ones (her Popsicles) came to us when Poppy was living as a stray and delivered her babies outside in the woods. Thankfully, a kind woman gained her trust and was able to bring her and the kittens to safety inside her home until we were able to pick them up when the kittens were about one week old. May 18, 2026: Mama Poppy and I were up bright and early to head to Roxboro Animal Hospital for her wellness exam, vaccines, FIV, Feline Leukemia and Heartworm test, and parasite screening. And guess what, she got a perfect score on all parts of her test! This stellar Mama to our 6 Popsicle kittens thought this was a fun little outing! Her milk had already started drying up quite a bit now that her littles are chowing on food themselves, so we were able to schedule her spay and vaccine boosters in 3 weeks. She also will get her microchip at that time. Poppy weighed 6.7 pounds today and is looking petite and slim now that she is not full of milk and carrying any baby weight, lol. We LOVE this sweet mama. She reminds of recent alumni Mama Boomchickapop and current mama in rescue Mama Moon. All 3 are beautiful, VERY affectionate and social calicos. Mama Poppy will be ready for her forever home after her spay on June 9th. Harriett Beautiful long haired calico/very petite female/SPAYED/VACCINATED/de-wormed/leukemia and feline hivNEGATIVE/LITTER BOX trained! Showed up at office (very bad area, w/heavy traffic & wild dogs that have killed kittens & cats recently. Harriett needs safe home. Stray, NOT feral/someone let her go. VERY friendly/ So sweet, LOVES attention, Lots of personality but very easy-going and gentle! Living in conference room in office. Loves to be petted! Approx. 3 years according to vet but is small, I actually thought she was under a year. still looks "kitten-ish". She recently had kittens, also available/ 8 weeks). Harriett is GRACEFUL Would be the most affectionate, devoted pet. Good w/children, & other cats, unsure about dogs. Bonded with Diego.  Mystique will be shy at first but once she trusts you she is very social and wants to be wherever her humans are. She doesn't like to be picked up or held but LOVES to cuddle in your lap on the couch or beside you in bed as long as you let her initiate it. She LOVES to be pet & talked to. She's very chatty she'll follow you around and carry on a conversation. She's loves toys and she plays fetch. She's very good with other friendly kitties but gets picked on by bullyish cats. Good with older kids. (young kids probably too noisy & active for her) Loves all 3 of her foster humans not just one (meaning not bonding with just 1). She is IN LOVE with foster friend cat Diego! Hazel is a beautiful calico mama whose kittens were already adopted. She was an outside cat before coming here and is more of the stereotypical cat, she stays to herself, relaxing on a cat tower but also likes to surprise you with love and snuggles. Hazel tolerates other cats and dogs but I think she would be happy as the only pet too.

We found this sweet girl in a ditch during a storm. We would love to keep her but she needs a home where she can sit in a lap, snuggle, have attention and play. We have dogs that won't allow it. I am charging a small rehoming fee but she comes with her bed, toys and a nice cat tree.

Cali is a super sweet lady with the softest fur! She loves to explore and will always be excited to meet you when you come home! She's big on purring and loves to sit on your lap after a snack! She's playful and adventurous and will be the best companion! She has met other cats and dogs in her current foster home and is curious but a little wary with the dogs - with a little time she's warm right up!

Smokey is a 9-month-old rescue that our family adores! He loves to run, climb, explore, and then curl up on the couch when he’s tired himself out. He definitely likes to be the prince of the house and enjoys having plenty of space to play and be himself. He can be independent, but he’s also affectionate when he’s comfortable. We’ve had Smokey for 7 months, and as he’s grown, we’ve realized he would likely be happiest in a home with older children (8+) or adults who can appreciate his playful, energetic personality. Smokey is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on his vaccinations. His adoption records, microchip information, and veterinary paperwork will be provided to his new family. We love him very much and want to find the right home where he can thrive! He will also come with his carrier and favorite toys, as well as his bed (although he will prefer your bed haha).
