She is a dream cat for someone looking for a companion cat or lap cat. Our veterinarian estimates this beautiful girl to be only 10-12 months old, So she is really still just a baby herself. Calliope is quite petite and sleek at just 7.5 pounds. Absolutely stunning. Calliope is everything you could hope for in a furry family member, friendly, social, affectionate, outgoing, gentle and incredibly loving. She adores attention, enjoys being close to her people and is the kind of cat who will happily soak up all the love you have to give. Calliope recently had a complete wellness exam and got a perfect report. She received her first FVRCP vaccine and rabies vaccine. She is FIV, FeLV and Heartworm negative and was screened for parasites as well, all clear. In addition, we continue to deworm our fosters every two weeks while in our care just to be safe. On 9/15 she will be spayed and receive her vaccine booster and then she will be ready for her very own forever home. This sweet young mama has spent the last 7 weeks taking wonderful care of her babies. Now it is finally going to be her turn to be the baby, to have a family of her own to spoil her, cuddle her and take care of her for the rest of her life. Mama Calliope truly is a gem, and we cannot wait to see her begin the happily ever after she deserves. We are told she did live with cats (no issues) in her past home and we plan to see how she does with our dogs when the opportunity presents itself. Calliopes adoption fee is $50. Hazel is a beautiful calico mama whose kittens were already adopted. She was an outside cat before coming here and is more of the stereotypical cat, she stays to herself, relaxing on a cat tower but also likes to surprise you with love and snuggles. Hazel tolerates other cats and dogs but I think she would be happy as the only pet too.

Bonded with Diego.  Mystique will be shy at first but once she trusts you she is very social and wants to be wherever her humans are. She doesn't like to be picked up or held but LOVES to cuddle in your lap on the couch or beside you in bed as long as you let her initiate it. She LOVES to be pet & talked to. She's very chatty she'll follow you around and carry on a conversation. She's loves toys and she plays fetch. She's very good with other friendly kitties but gets picked on by bullyish cats. Good with older kids. (young kids probably too noisy & active for her) Loves all 3 of her foster humans not just one (meaning not bonding with just 1). She is IN LOVE with foster friend cat Diego!
