Story
Hello, I'm Jen. I may be a senior, but I'm filled with love and affection. My days are spent in a calm, mellow state, just waiting for someone to share in my tranquility. I'm a loyal companion, always there to provide a comforting purr or a gentle nudge when you need it. I'm friendly with everyone I meet, always ready to make new friends. Sweet as can be, I'm the perfect companion to come home to after a long day. Petite in size, I don't take up much space, but I have a huge heart. I'm just waiting for the right person to share my love and loyalty with. Adopting me means gaining a devoted, sweet, and friendly companion who will always be there for you. I've previously lived with small dogs and other cats. At my last home I had some access to the outside to bathe in the sunshine. Story
Meet Dolly and Patsy, all about 8 weeks old, as of October 20th.. Dolly came from a Locust Grove backyard at just 3 to 4 weeks old when the Good Samaritan accidentally found her and her siblings in a brushpile, right before he was ready to light it on fire. He never knew they were there, but when one ran out, he stopped immediately, brought them inside, and contacted us. Little Patsy was found frightened, and all alone under a truck at a grocery store and was raised with Dolly and her siblings (siblings adopted now).Dolly is a gorgeous torbi with colors of gray, and peach and orange tones. Dolly is also independent and outgoing. She also loves to be playful and explore, and cuddle. Little Patsy is perhaps the shyest of the bunch. She is primarily white with black and tan and some stripes, She is a tabbico. Patsy startles at loud noises and, although timid, is very people oriented and a bug snuggler. These babies will need quiet, low activity homes with either no children or children over 11 years old and both will need to be adopted with another kitten. Please note preference goes to people  adopting more than one kitten. Both are/will be dewormed, receive 2 FVRCP vaccines, a rabies vaccine, be spayed/neutered, combo tested, and microchipped with a lifetime registration. No need to register and pay money every year, we've done it for you! Would you like a little more country in your life? Fill out a digital application at: https://www.jotform.com/form/221029453063044November 17, 2025, 11:55 pm

Tigger is an orange and white little boy. He is playful and laid back. Winnie and Tigger do everything together - play, eat, sleep, and groom each other. They are bonded and must be adopted together.Binx is a little black and white tuxedo girl. She has a stripe of white on her nose, a white chest and paws. She is curious and outgoing and likes to lay with you. She will follow you around and loves belly rubs. Boo is also a girl and is black and white with a white chest and paws. Story
Hi, I’m Hope – Your Chatty, Cuddle-Loving Best Friend! Are you looking for a companion who will adore you unconditionally, keep you company all day, and chat with you about everything? Well, look no further—I’m Hope, and I’d love to be your new best friend! Unlike most cats, I don’t play hard to get. I’m a lap cat through and through. I’ll sit next to you (or on you!) for hours, happily purring just because I’m near you. I don’t even need pets to be content—your presence is enough to make me happy. What Makes Me Special? • I’m a social butterfly. If you have guests, I’ll introduce myself right away—I don’t believe in being shy! • I love to talk. Every morning, I like to have a ten-minute conversation with my person. I’ll meow and tell you all about my dreams, my plans for the day, and remind you that I’m the most important thing in your life. I also greet you at the door every evening with an enthusiastic chat. • I love compliments. Some cats love treats, but I love praise. If you tell me “good girl,” I’ll keep doing whatever made you happy—over and over again! Fun Facts About Me! • I won’t eat unless you stand next to me. Eating is a social event, and I prefer company while I dine! • I drool when I’m happy. Scratch my head just right, and you might notice a little drool—it’s just my way of saying “I love you!” • I’m obsessed with Cat TV. Put on a YouTube video of birds or fish, and I’ll sit mesmerized, watching my “shows.” It’s my version of binge-watching! Who I’m Looking For I need someone who has a lot of love and attention to give. I don’t do well being alone for long periods, so I’d be happiest with a retired or work-from-home human who wants a constant companion. I also prefer to be the only pet—I like being the star of the show! A quiet home without young kids would be ideal, so I can get all the attention I deserve. Unfortunately, my current person has developed a serious allergy, so they’re helping me find my perfect new home. If you’re looking for a cat who will love you with her whole heart, keep you company all day, and make sure you’re never lonely, I’m your girl! If you think we’re a match, let’s meet! Want a purr machine to ride on your shoulder?! Hope's your girl! She's a gentle, friendly girl who turned 2 April, 2024. She enjoys affection and is happy to be held. She's healthy, with silky fur. We want to make adopting easy for you! Here’s our application:   https://form.jotform.com/232837730565159  Once you complete it, we’re on it! We’ll call your vet (or personal reference) the next business day. Then we like to do a brief video chat (FaceTime if you have it) so you can show us your new pet’s home - where they’ll sleep, eat, and play. During our chat, we can also give you tips or answer questions about how to successfully integrate your new family member into your household, especially if you have other pets. Our adoption fee is $150 and covers our costs of spay/neuter, vaccinations, vet exam, and supplies. (Once old enough, all our cats are current on their shots and have been spayed/neutered.) We’re a strictly no-kill shelter just for cats. We’re cage-free, donation-based, and volunteer-powered. We’re small but special and we’re glad you found us! For more info don’t hesitate to call or text us at 540-987-6050 or email us at adopt@rappcats.org. November 20, 2025, 9:53 pm

Needs special attention, Declawed, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Violet is the kind if kitty who loves to be near you but doesn't always want to be picked up. She enjoys sitting in the window and watching the birds and lounging on soft things. Violet showed up in a feral cat colony about 3 years ago and the caretaker realized that she was not feral & she was declawed on all four paws. She took her to the shelter which is where Cat's Cradle rescued her and put her in a foster home. Since this is all we know about her, we're not sure exactly how old she is. Now that she is on medication for her hyperthyroidism, she looks and feels much better. Her fur is very soft, and she has gained weight although she will always be a very petite girl with tiny paws. She would do best in a home with no other animals and no small children. She prefers a quiet place where she can be her sweet, introverted self.
