Story
Cupid is an adorable neutered male grey and white Domestic Shorthair cat. He is currently in foster care, and is available for adoption! If you are looking for a sweet, lovable and fun kitten, pick Cupid! Cupid was diagnosed as having a seizure disorder when he was a young kitten. As a result, he has to take daily medication which he takes in pill pockets. Luckily, he seldom has seizures now, but will need someone willing to keep up with his medication and vet visits. He has some vision and hearing loss from the seizures, but he gets around well and loves chasing those invisible rainbows and unicorns. Sometimes when he is playing hard, he gives little bites, so a home with no small children would be best. He adores other cats and dogs and would love to have a furry friend to play with. He loves to snuggle up in the hammock for a nap with his foster dad and would be a wonderful companion for someone who works from home. He is currently working on leash training too! Cupid is micro-chipped, current on vaccinations, and neutered. If you would like to fill out an application please do so at http://www.catscradleva.org/adopt Updated December, 2022

Story
Hey everyone, my name is Tiny and I am a 1.5-year-old female. You will probably never read a cat biography quite like this one. I am searching for a very specific adopter. You see, I have haphephobia, which is the fear of being touched. I love people but I just don't want them touching me. Normally this means that I will end up being a barn cat. But truly, I would rather be inside. I enjoy being indoors and am hoping someone will take a chance on me. Without a doubt, I am the LOWEST MAINTENANCE cat ever. All I need is food, water and a litter box. The benefits of owning a cat with my condition and reasons that I might be a good fit for you include: *Need a BFF for your current cat/s? DONE. I love my peeps. *Need a fluffy ball or laser dot chaser (my fave.) I'M YOUR CAT! *Need a bodyguard to follow you from room to room? I'M THERE! *Need a cat to stare at you lovingly (true story.) PICK ME! I CAN DO THAT! *Need a cat that will give you your own personal space? NAILED IT! *Need a cat that will watch tv with you? I GOT YOU COVERED! So, that is Tiny's' story. If she gets a forever home, there might be potential for her to adjust. If you have any questions about her, please contact me. I have been her foster for about 2 months now and just want the best for her. Obviously, Tiny would fit best in a home with other cats and no small children. I will be glad to pay her adoption fee!

McMuffin is a lovely spayed female brown and white tabby domestic shorthair cat. She is currently in foster care and is available for adoption now! McMuffin is a very sweet young cat who starts off shy, so she needs some time to warm up with a patient adopter but is so worth the wait. She loves to be rubbed but doesn't always enjoy being picked up. This girl was a very young mama and did great with her kittens. She now is ready to be someone else's baby! She is playful, enjoys a good nap, purring and making biscuits. She is micro-chipped, current on vaccinations, and spayed. Dolly is a very affectionate and playful kitten who is ready for adoption now. She is positive for feline leukemia but has shown no signs of illness since she has been in our foster care program. She would love to have a friend and would be a wonderful playmate for another leukemia positive kitten. She would also be a sweet companion for someone who wanted a single kitten due to her affectionate nature.

Parenthesis is an adorable big neutered male adult white and black Domestic Shorthair cat. He is currently in foster care and is available for adoption now! Parenthesis is a very lovable, affectionate, cuddly, laid back guy who enjoys lounging, naps, snacks, and self care. He loves attention. With a good, slow proper introduction, he gets along with dogs, though he does chase them sometimes. He has a big, dominant personality, so he is best as an only cat as he can bully others. Chloe and Gus
At under a year old, Chloe and her brother,Gus, were found homeless in a parking lot - eating scraps and begging for food from passersby. They were finally scooped up by a concerned citizen and are now available to you as the perfect cat starter pack! They love playing with each other and love their humans too! Chloe is a sweet, doe-eyed girl with the cutest little bobtail. She is very poised, and always camera ready. Nothing makes her happier than curling up on a blanket with you. Gus is just a big, tabby teddy bear. Cuddly, curious, and ready to be your best bud. He follows you wherever you go. Chloe and Gus are affectionate, easy-going cats who would do well in just about any environment - including with other cats, kids, or dogs. They are currently being fostered in Huntsville, AL, with transport available to your area. They are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and ready to make themselves at home in YOUR home. If you think you have the perfect place for Chloe and Gus, please submit an application at https://forrescue.net/cat-application/. They are waiting to meet you!

Story
CLIFFHANGER IS IN HER FOSTER HOME IN MEMPHIS TN AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO VA ONCE SHE IS ADOPTED! This is Cliffhanger, a lovely tabby/white small female kitty who was born around 6/28/2023.  She is very affectionate and playful. She loves NAPS.  If you cannot find her, she is likely snuggled up taking a nap.  The perfect work-from-home companion kitty.  She loves to play and loves all cat toys and is definitely loads of fun. She loves to find an open drawer to snuggle in and she is very inquisitive. She could probably be a single kitty, but would also do well with a friendly low-key kitty.  She has never been around dogs and is not recommended for a dog home. She is neutered, has had all age appropriate vaccines, microchip, and a confirmed NEGATIVE FIV/FeLV test.  The adoption fee of $295 also includes the transport to CT.  We use a licensed and registered USDA transport company that will bring her up north once she is adopted. If you are interested in adopting, please go to our website and complete an online application using this link: http://www.newbeginningsanimalrescue.net.   Once your application is received and processed you will be contacted by an NBAR Volunteer.
