Story
Meet Thanos 🖤🐾 Thanos is a 4-year-old male Cane Corso who came to us as a stray in extremely emaciated condition. Despite his rough start, he’s been gaining weight steadily and is blossoming more each day 💪✨ It’s been amazing to watch him regain his strength and confidence. Thanos walks well on a leash and is VERY food motivated 🍖, which makes training both rewarding and effective. He already knows sit, down, shake, and speak 🐶👏 and truly enjoys working with his people. He appears to do well with neutered male and female dogs, though he has not been tested with cats at this time. Thanos does resource guard with food and can show barrier reactivity in a kennel or crate. Because of this, he will need an adult-only home with someone experienced and familiar with the Cane Corso breed who can provide structure, leadership, and continued training. With the right owner, Thanos will be an incredibly loyal, protective, and devoted companion ready to start his next chapter ❤️

Story
We are urgently looking for a responsible and loving home for this puppy. Due to an unexpected housing situation, he was left in her car and we are unfortunately unable to keep him long-term. This was never meant to be a permanent arrangement and our goal is to find him the stable for home he deserves. He is still a young puppy with plenty of potential to learn grow and become an amazing companion. He is playful, curious, affectionate, and enjoys being around people like any puppy, he will need continued training, socialization, exercise, and consistency as he matures.Because of his breed mix, he is expected to grow into a large dog so we are looking for someone who understands the responsibility that comes with owning and training a large breed.A rehoming fee applies to help ensure serious inquiries only. If interested please reach out and tell us a little about yourself

Story
Meet the "Rio Litter!" They were born on February 1, 2026 and they are Cane Corso/Mastiff mixes. These little bundles of wrinkles are going to be big! They are incredibly friendly, adorable, and ready to shower their new families with affection. Each puppy has already received their first round of vaccinations and is microchipped. All puppies will be spayed or neutered before heading to their forever homes. Because they're so young, their new families can look forward to all the early training and socialization to help them become well-mannered members of the community as they reach adulthood. If you have the space in your home and the time to guide a smart, eager-to-learn puppy, these stunning mixes are ready to join your pack! $350 adoption fee. Story
Meet SCARLETT Scarlett was on the euthanasia list and had already been granted three extensions…she had run out of time! She arrived at the shelter after what appears to have been a very hard life. Having had multiple litters, she was emaciated, in pain, and understandably scared. The shelter can be overwhelming for any dog, but especially for one who has never known true safety or comfort. And yet… Scarlett chose kindness. Despite everything she has endured, she is gentle, sweet, and lovable. Her foster family describes her as a happy, affectionate girl who loves playing with the other dogs and absolutely adores her people. She is a total love bug who will roll right over for belly rubs any chance she gets. This darling girl has put on some healthy weight and the pain medications are giving her much needed relief. Scarlett is a beautiful Cane Corso, approximately 4 years old, with so much love to give. As part of her initial care, X-rays revealed some orthopedic abnormalities. We have an appointment coming up with an orthopedic specialist this week, where we can better understand what she needs and create the best plan for her moving forward. She would do best with a family who can offer patience, love, and a commitment to her continued care as we learn more about what she may need. If you would like to be considered for SCARLETT, our adoption process and application is on our website at www.aarflove.org. Please note: We receive many wonderful applications and unfortunately cannot respond to everyone. If we believe you're a potential match, we will reach out directly. Thank you for understanding and for supporting rescue! Part of Scarlett's adoption fee is being sponsored by our Angel Fund for the perfect applicant.

Story
Meet Birdie: 110 pounds of emotional support freight train with the soul of a retired grandma and the surprising athletic ability of someone who absolutely should not be that fast. She is currently seeking her forever home with a loving family who appreciates a strong, independent woman in a very large dog body. Bonus points if you have small dogs and/or cats, because Birdie considers herself their extremely committed (and slightly overbearing) security detail. She isn’t a fan of large dogs but hoping training will help with this but a home with a large dog currently isn’t an option. Now let’s talk about the plot twist: despite being 110 lbs and working through a rough past tarsal ligament injury + hip dysplasia, Birdie can and will teleport when motivated. You’ll be thinking “aww sweet slow girl” and then suddenly she’s across the yard like she just heard a chip bag open in another dimension. So yes—low impact lifestyle, but also… stay alert. Her ideal home includes: • Flat terrain (we’re not climbing Everest, thank you) • Minimal stairs (her joints would like a word) • A shallow kiddie pool, where she enjoys standing like a philosophical hippo • A calm household where she can fully relax into her soft, snuggly era but committed to continuing training to open up her world to making new friends Personality-wise, Birdie is deeply loving, loyal, and sweet. Once you’re in her circle, you’re IN. She will lean on you with her entire body weight (this is not optional), follow you around like a very large shadow, and provide unmatched emotional support… while also judging any new human who walks into her home. Birdie will be spayed, microchipped, and vaccinated. Birdie is about 3 years old.

Story
Santo is a great dog but our space is too small for him and he is not getting enough quality time. He is kennel trained and potty trained. He is good on a leash as well. He does have an anal benign tumor that can be removed if he is neutered. It does not cause any pain or anything just looks a little weird on his backside. He is great with kids as I have a 7 year old daughter. He has played with his litter mates recently without any issues but has not ben around dogs he doesn't know. He is very friendly and loves hugs and to be pet. He is a very chill dog not super hyper and is not a constant barker. Please contact me ASAP if interested.
