Available to foster or adopt!Breed: Cane Corso / Presa Canario X DOB: 10/2017 Gender: male Altered: yes Coat: medium Size: x-large Color(s): brown brindle / white Description: ***Needs a Foster Home*** This dog is in need of a foster home as well as a permanent home. If you are interested in fostering please fill out an online foster application. Hi, I'm Finn, a gentle giant (Cane Corso / Presa Canario X) with lots of love to give! I'm a very mellow and well-mannered boy who walks well on a leash and seems to listen to commands. I've been through a lot of changes recently, having been abandoned at the kennel. It's unknown if I like other big dogs since I haven't had a chance to participate in playgroups just yet. I do not seem to care for small dogs. It's also unknown how I'd do with children or cats. I have a heart of gold and will make a great addition to your family. Please fill out an online application to come and meet me - you won't be disappointed!January 8, 2026, 5:46 pm

Story
I adopted my dog from the Camarillo Animal Shelter. He is approximately 10 months old. I am looking for a home with an adopter who has the time to provide regular walks and access to an open area or yard, as he is energetic and active. He is a very sweet and well-mannered dog with no history of aggression toward people. He may be reactive around small dogs and tends to be timid around larger dogs. On walks, he pulls slightly due to his curiosity and love for sniffing. He enjoys bath time, and we typically take him to Tractor Supply for grooming.

Story
This is Khan, he’s a pure bred blue Cane Corso. He weighs 167 lbs. He is the product of a AKC grand champion Corso. His temperament is very relaxed with people but would not recommend having him around other dogs right away, he would need some time to acclimate. He’s currently living with 2 adults and 1 child. He is a very protective dog of his family and property. Khan is potty trained, and for the most part an inside dog. He’s loving and thinks he’s a lap dog. I’m looking for someone who can dedicate the time and love that this big guys requires and deserves. Ideally someone who can take him on long walks and spend time training him and leading him. He really is a very beautiful and loyal and loving dog but we just can’t dedicate the time he needs with our family issues at this time. If you have any questions I would love to answer them.

Story
Meet Hades, a 1.5-year-old Cane Corso with a heart full of love. Hades is struggling in the shelter environment and is currently very fearful and avoidant. He is cautious around people, sometimes retreating to corners or ignoring treats, and he shows his stress through body language like a tucked tail, pinned-back ears, and trembling when touched.Hades isn’t a dog who will approach immediately, but with gentle, patient guidance, he has the potential to blossom into a loyal and affectionate companion. He needs a dedicated foster or an experienced adopter who can help him build trust, confidence, and a sense of safety. Routine, patience, and positive experiences will be key to helping Hades realize his loving nature. If you have experience with sensitive dogs and a calm home environment, Hades could be the dog whose bond with you is truly life-changing. He may not be ready for everyone, but for the right person, he is a gentle giant waiting to show his heart.
