She loves car rides, enjoys relaxing by your side, and will gladly follow you from room to room just to keep you company. Anastasia is a devoted Velcro dog who forms strong bonds with her humans and thrives on affection and companionship. While in foster care, Anastasia has become an incredible ambassador dog. Her calm, gentle presence has helped another rescue, Optimus, build confidence and take important steps toward trusting people and feeling safe. Anastasia came to us severely underweight and heartworm positive, but has already gained healthy weight, and has begun heartworm treatment. Her treatment is fully covered by The Runaways Animal Rescue, so her future family can focus on what matters most: loving her. All Anastasia truly wants is a safe home, soft pets, and someone to love her as much as she will love them. If you’re looking for a loyal best friend, road trip companion, and professional shadow, Anastasia may be the perfect match.

Story
Storm and Xena were both purchased as 6wk old puppies from a reputable Champion Pedigree breeder in SA, TX. Same litter. They have been a part of our family for 1.9yrs. Both female, not fixed. Storm is a typical working dog, needs activity but is calm as long as she has her daily exercise. She’s also more fit to be a guard dog due to her innate awareness. Xena is naturally a calm lap dog who will sleep all day if you let her. Both are very well behaved around children (I have 8) and are house trained. My mother got stage 4 cancer and unfortunately passed which resulted in my relocation to FL. I now work in office and I’m away from home at least 13 hours of the day. I don’t have the time anymore to care for them the way they require so I regrettably have to let them go. These dogs are loyal to us and each other with Storm being the nurturer of Xena. I love these dogs; I’m praying they go to a family that will love them, care for them, and give them the time and attention they deserve.
