It’s not a decision we wanted fo make but hope to find him the best home! Personality: Very energetic and very friendly. Will lick you to death and likes a lot of attention. Hoping to find him a very stable home. House Trained and/or crate trained? Yes- both Any bad habits or things that need to be worked on with him/her? If he is not getting enough attention, he will chew things that will get your attention. Dog good with kids, cats, or other dogs? He is from what I have experienced very friendly with all and any that are friendly with him. Hi, I’m Cleopatra. I was surrendered to a vet clinic after spending my life tied to a chain outside in Georgia. I’m not really sure why my family treated me that way, but I know now that I didn’t deserve that kind of life. Thankfully, Big Dog Ranch stepped in and gave me a second chance. Since being here, I’ve been learning what it means to feel safe and cared for. I keep my kennel nice and clean, and I’m learning to walk well on a leash. Being inside is very new to me… but I think I really like it. The chain I was tied up with hurt me badly—it cut deep into my neck. But I’ve had surgery, and I’m healing more every day. Soon, I’ll be ready to start the next chapter of my life. What I dream of most is a forever home. A place where I can feel safe, loved, and free—no chains, no ropes… just a nice fenced yard where I can finally be a dog. Please help me find a home to call my own. Love, Cleopatra 🐾

We got him from a backyard breeder when he was 6 weeks old in 2020and have loved him for the last 6 years. We’re looking for someone with the energy and time he needs. Preferably someone without children. We have a three year old, a one year old and are currently pregnant with twins. Pluto is our first baby boy but he deserves more time and attention put into him. He’s the most loving, protective, and smartest dog we’ve ever had.
