This hasn’t been an easy decision to make but life happens and all we can hope for is that our boy finds a loving home, family and a space to run around. We don’t have the backyard for him to enjoy running freely and he doesn’t get along socially with any other pets. He is a loving dog, very protective of us and my four girls. He will easily adapt to new people after spending some time with you. I hope this can work out for the best for us and for him.

Kodiak arrived at the rescue after his previous owner passed away. He is an absolute social butterfly who adores people and is good with dogs with proper introduction that respect his boundaries Kodiak lived with two cats, small and big dogs alike which shows his diversity! He is fantastic with older children who respect his boundaries. Kodiak has plenty of energy and will need an activemily dedicated to giving him daily walks, playtime, and plenty of mental enrichment. Kodiak has shown “resource guarding” at the rescue with other dogs. He will need a home that understands the importance of structure and routine so he can enjoy his toys/space and treats safely with other canine friends. If you have room in your heart and your home for a loyal, energetic, and profoundly loving companion, Kodiak cannot wait to meet you!
