Story
I originally got Letty as a rescue when she was a year old from Atlanta Georgia. Had her for about 10 years shes a great dog and we have been through allot. Wish I didn’t have to get rid of her. She is a little skiddish sometimes. She can be aggressive with other dogs especially if they smell her butt or food. But Letty is like a big cat and sleeps most of the day and is a very low activity dog and lays around most of the day. Due to me having a new baby and change in living situation never hardly ever home and she spends most of the days by her self and I dont like that for her and I love Letty very much just cant care for her as I was able to. She used to chase the cat but now she gets along with the cat. So assuming once she gets to know the cat shes good. I just dont trust her around my toddler as they dont know not to get in her face as she has snapped in the past Letty is a great dog I love her I need her adopted ASAP the plan is to put her down 10/28/26 if I cannot rehome

Hi, I’m a 3-year-old Bullmastiff girl with a gentle heart and a lot of love to give. I’m still learning how to feel safe, secure, and confident in myself, so I’ll need a special person who understands that trust takes time. I can be shy when we first meet, and it may take me a while to feel comfortable in a new home with new people. I’m looking for a quiet, low-energy home where life is calm and predictable, where I feel safe as I settle in. More than anything, I need a family with LOTS of patience, love, understanding, and time. I don’t need you to rush me or expect me to feel at home overnight. I just need you to meet me where I am, let me move at my own pace, and show me that I’m finally somewhere I can relax and be myself. With a little patience and a lot of love, I have big dreams to grow into a more confident girl and build a bond with someone who will give me the security I need. If you have a calm home, a gentle heart, and the time to help a shy girl find her confidence, I might just be the companion you’ve been waiting for. ❤️ I’m not looking for a perfect home. Whiskey is a 2-year-old neutered (just completed in late August) male, what we feel could be a purebred, albeit poorly bred, Irish Wolfhound. He is a big boy but weighs only 110 lb. He towers over our 182 lb English Mastiff (also available for adoption), Isla! We had high hopes of keeping him here on the ranch. However, he is very determined to catch and kill cats, and that just won't work. He also recently started going after the farm fowl. He is excellent with all sizes of other dogs. Very friendly and playful with them. He's great with other dogs. He has had a very traumatic past. He is terrified of most men and takes weeks to warm up to a new woman. He requires complete patience and determination.. He is very insecure and does not trust easily. He is a bolter and as strong as a yearling colt! Much care needs to be used when attempting to walk him outside of a fenced area. We are working on this. We are working on everything with him. We feel he's finally to a place where he's comfortable enough to feel good about moving into a permanent home. This is going to have to be a home with a extremely secure, solid fence, 6' or better. He can tear through chain link. Everything scares him from loud noises, backfiring cars, thunder, slamming doors, any kind of yelling.... And he bolts. He doesn't run away. He'll stay right around the property and it takes him about 2 days to come down off of whatever fear level he's at and come back to you. We have a large property so that doesn't bother us as much as the fact that the neighbors don't appreciate him "trespassing" . I'm being very honest about his behaviors because we didn't know any of this when we agreed to pull him from the shelter and this has been a learning experience! We've had him about 2 months now. He IS housebroken, but will counter surf. He does know how to use a dog door. He can make himself extremely small and fit underneath a bed to hide if he gets scared and it's very difficult to get him out. He cannot go to a home with children as he is completely unaware of his size and could run over the top of them and hurt them. We are seeking a breed experienced adopter. It's a tall order, we understand and we're willing to keep him for as long as it takes to find the perfect home! ***We have been made aware of an "accidental" (i don't believe in accidental litters! Spay/Neuter or you WILL have puppies!! 🤷) of pups in Deer Park in 2025 by a purebred IW dad and a Great Pyrn/Anatolian Shep mom. The puppies were sold far and wide and he very possibly could be one of these puppies. That would make him just over a year old. He looks identical to others from this little that people have sent in pictures of!!
