Meet Flik — a playful pup in a big, lovable package with a heart just as large as his paws. 💛 Flik is truly just a big puppy at heart, bursting with energy and joy, but shelter life has been weighing on him. The stress of the kennel can be tough, so he’s found his own ways to cope — whether it’s nudging his food bowl around or happily entertaining himself with toys. Give him something to do, and he settles in just fine. The moment Flik steps out of his kennel, his excitement shines through. He’s so eager to explore the world that he tends to pull on the leash, so he’ll need someone patient who can help him get back to basics and learn good walking manners. But that enthusiasm? It’s all part of his charm. In the office, Flik lights up. He loves people, but toys are his absolute favorite. Toss one his way and you’ll see his playful spirit come alive — he could chase them forever! The second he hears a squeaker, his tail starts wagging nonstop, and he’ll break into the cutest little zoomies, bouncing around with pure happiness. Flik is still young and impressionable, which means he has so much potential. With a dedicated and experienced handler willing to put time into training, he’s sure to grow into an incredible companion. More than anything, Flik just needs a loving home — one that will give him the playtime, patience, and affection he’s been missing. Flik is waiting for his second chance. 🐾 Dog2Dog: Flik did okay in playgroups with mix and mingle females. He needs some who isn’t too crazy or high energy. He did best with a submissive mix and mingle female. Flik is sadly NO MALES. He comes out a little hot but with time mellows out.

Cora is a beautiful 3 yo female, blue Cane Corso. We saved her from a CA high kill shelter and transported her to ID. She was terrified in the shelter and had shut down and given up. Her only notes were that she was curled up in back of her kennel. When staff arrived she sniffed a bit, and began trembling. Then put her head back down. She did not engage further. Heart-breaking. Being fostered in Twin Falls ID. Update from foster states that Cora doesn't do well with anything that runs or moves really fast.

Stella is a gorgeous dark brindle Corso that is 1 yo. She was getting kennel stress at the shelter so we pulled her and got in with a foster in Monroe WA. Stella is social with other dogs and has playful puppy energy.

Val is a striking 3-4 yo gray Cane Corso. She was suffering from kennel stress at the shelter so we saved her and got her placed with a foster. She needs a low-key household where she can relax and chill. She does OK with other dogs, but tends to just ignore them.

Daisy was picked up and taken to the shelter in bad condition. She was extremely emaciated. Once she was getting healthy she started showing signs of kennel stress so they put her on the euthanize list. We saved her and are transporting her to Idaho to be fostered. She loves people and dopes well with dogs and shows no reaction to cats,

Story
Daisy is 2 yo female gray Cane Corso. She came into the shelter terrified. She acclimated after a week and started playing with other dogs in the play yard. All the staff and volunteers loved her. We were able to save her from being euthanized and get transferred to Idaho. She is looking a new home!
