Story
Smokey is a three year old cane corso. He is very affectionate towards people and when out in public never meets a stranger. He does well with the cats he was raised with, but not new cats. Dogs he has met outside of home, he behaves. The best home for Smokey is to be the only animal. He knows how to give both paws and touch. Slightly knows how to heel when walking. He is aggressive towards other animals when eating, but not people. When he meets kids out in public he loves them. He does not realize his size and wants to jump when he is excited. He is a great protector and would make a great addition to your home.

Story
Buddy is a sweet, cuddly boy who just wants someone to love him. He loves people so much and will climb in your lap to show it! Buddy is a healthy 4 year old boy. He enjoys walks, rolling in the grass, and is good on leash. He is housetrained and knows sit, stay, come, and paw. Buddy may look tough, but he is actually a delicate soul who requires a raincoat if you expect him to go out in the rain. He is looking for an adopter, but even a foster will do (no kitties please, he enjoys the chase too much). ##2401237##

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Looking for a fun, quirky and goofy dog?  Want a tri-pod dog that thinks she’s a gazelle? Well….Kylie is the perfect fit! What a road of recovery this girl has had from a terrible abuse case.  Kylie came to us after having to have her right hind leg removed and need time to heal from that and some other fractures.  After many months of learning how to trust humans again, she slowly began to come out of her shell and learned to interact with humans and her doggie friends. She discovered that she likes to sleep on a soft doggie bed or lounge around on the couch, when she’s not wrestling around with her doggie friends.  She has no awareness that she’s a tri-pod and leaps and wrestles around. Kylie would do best in a home with other doggie friends and with patient humans who will give her the time and space to trust in them.  She tends to favor women over men but can be won over with yummy treats.  Rescue shows us the road to recovery may be long for some dogs, but one look into Kylie’s eyes and you can certainly see her compassion and ability to love again.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home. We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application. We strive to make sure the bios provided for our dogs are complete and accurate; we do understand that mistakes happen, however, so if you absolutely cannot find the answer to your question in the dog's bio, you can contact us for more information. We require a home visit for each dog we adopt out, so we adopt within a 2 hour radius of Dayton, OH. If you are outside of this radius, we encourage you to contact your local rescue or shelter.   April 4, 2025, 12:57 pm

Story
Pearl is a very gentle and sweet girl. She is also ok with cats, the hissing scares her a bit. She will sit for a treat. Listens well. I think her ideal home would be with someone who works from home because she really just wants to be with her people at all times and is well behaved for whatever is going on. Does well on a leash, loves walks and car rides and belly rubs! Working on house breaking, not doing bad but still needs a little time to improve. Not a fan of being in a cage or locked away from her people but necessary at times if no one is home, you just may need to push her in 😂
