Contact the foster at, lanebc2@gmail.comMEET DELILAH — The 110-lb “Beast” Who’s Secretly the World’s Sweetest Cuddle MonsterIf the couch had a soulmate, it would be this majestic beauty right here.Delilah (aka “The Beast”) is an 8-year-old Cane Corso who was found as a stray but clearly used to have a family. She already knows sit, lie down, come, and how to catch treats mid-air like a furry all-star. Tell her a room is off-limits and she respects it like a perfect gentlewoman. No destruction, no drama, no barking marathons — just pure, chill queen energy. She’s the ultimate gentle giant:• Doesn’t pull on the leash (she’s more of a slow, majestic saunter kind of girl — think “mosey”, not marathon runner)• Takes treats so gently you’ll wonder if she even made contact• Gives kisses only when she really means it (they’re surprisingly not slobby!)• Would rather melt into the couch for epic snuggles than anything else• Perfect in the car — if you want to put her in the back, she may need some help up as she’s not exactly a high-jump type of girl! If you open the window, she’ll sometimes stick her head outside, and her big, floppy jowls will flap hysterically in the wind!• Super smart — she’s the only dog I’ve ever met who has never tangled the leash around a pole or tree. While most dogs will drag you in circles, fight you to go the wrong way, and force you to do the awkward “pole dance” as you both orbit like confused satellites, Delilah just calmly walks on the same side as me. Genius level unlocked! At 110 pounds she looks like she could guard Fort Knox… but she’s actually the quietest, most laid-back, non-reactive sweetheart you’ll ever meet. Zero reaction to other dogs, kids, loud noises — she just vibes through life. Crate? They’re too small and uncomfortable for her. She’s one of the only fosters I’ve trusted to free-roam when I’m not around because she’s both housebroken and respectful.Street cred alert: When you walk Delilah down the street, heads are gonna turn. People will make way for you just to be safe because she looks like a hippo crossed with a walrus — that massive “don’t test me” energy. But get closer and you’ll realize she’s actually a total land manatee: the gentlest, slowest, most snuggly sea-cow of a dog who just wants to float through life on the couch with you. No one’s gonna dare be mean to you — nobody wants to risk it with a dog who looks like

Story
Please contact my foster at: easanders3@gmail.comBuster Bear has clearly had a rough start to life, but he’s making up for lost time by soaking up all the love he can get. He’s a true Velcro dog: affectionate, cuddly, and happiest when he’s right next to his people. What to know about Buster:•Extremely people-oriented; follows his humans from room to room and wants to be as close to you as possible (if not on you)•Sweet, affectionate, and loves to snuggle•Happy boy with a tail that never stops wagging •Not a typical Cane Corso guard dog. He enjoys meeting new people and just wants love and attention•Experiences some separation anxiety and may cry; settles best when crated in a quiet room•Has zero concept of personal space and can be grabby with treats, so a home without small children is recommended•Came in very malnourished and is highly food-motivated; will try to eat things he shouldn’t, so supervision or crating is needed when left alone•Still working on house training; tends to mark or have accidents when excited, which may get better after his neuter•Does great in the car but needs to be clipped in; he will try to get in your lap•Large, strong boy who would benefit from a strong handler and consistent leash training•Appears dog-friendly, but slow, proper introductions are always recommended•Does not seem cat-friendly and will bark at cats•Not a fan of being outside, so he would love to be an only indoor dog•Heartworm positive, so exercise should be limited, and monthly prevention is necessary to prevent further damage to his heart and organsBuster is a big, soft-hearted lovebug who will thrive with structure and continued training. He enjoys napping, cuddling, and eating, but his favorite thing by far is love and affection. He will make a wonderful companion!

Please contact my foster for more info about me @noelway967@gmail.comYour Oversized Lap Dog Extraordinaire!Looking for a loyal shadow who doubles as a space heater? Meet Bair (AKA “Zoe`!) At 125 pounds, she has mastered the art of being a lap dog. If you’ve ever dreamed of being lovingly flattened during movie night, she’s your girl. She’ll follow you everywhere—yes, even to the bathroom. Privacy is a myth. Bair is a world-class snuggler who lives for belly rubs and will gently pat your face with her giant paws out of pure excitement. She loves being involved in every part of your day and makes an excellent work-from-home coworker, snoozing quietly at your side. She’s calm, steady, affectionate, and clearly came from a loving home.More information about Bair!- She`s super smart and easy to train, especially with treats.  Knows sit, stay and down!- Potty trained and house trained. Once she has been walked and fed she does well when left out of the crate - likes to relax and sleep (may need to be crated while learning a new routine)- Word to the wise about giving her bones, she will hide them all over the house. You could find one hidden in a closet!- Loves her snuggle puppy and cow stuffed toys. Brings them wherever she goes! - If she sees a neighbor while outside, she is insistent on saying hello and getting some attention.- Best as the only dog due to food reactivity but she enjoys playing and has made friends with 2 of the neighborhood dogs- Loves long walks and exploring everything around her. Can get excited when seeing other dogs and can be strong on the leash.- Couch-potato-in-training: she’d love to hog your bed but is learning boundaries- Built-in winter warmer: 125 pounds of snuggly insulation- Boutique breed vibes: likely a cane corso / Great Dane / pit bull blend- Not a big barker—unless someone approaches the home, when her natural guarding instincts kick in- Food enthusiast and counter-surfer extraordinaire—keep snacks out of reach- Excellent at the vet—calm, cooperative, and estimated to be 5–6 years old- Best with an experienced dog parent. Needs a firm parent that can set boundaries.- Cherry eye? No worries—the shelter plans to repair it during her spay

Story
Meet Brinkley! Estimated Birthday: 8/12/2025 Brinkley is a stunning Great Dane/Cane Corso mix expected to grow into a gorgeous 80–90 pound companion. This sweet girl came to rescue at just 5 weeks old with her brother, and while he’s already found his forever home, Brinkley is still waiting for her perfect match. She’s the definition of a gentle giant in the making—easygoing, affectionate, and happiest when she’s close to her people. Brinkley loves to snuggle (the closer, the better!) and will happily lean into you for extra love. Her mornings often start with adorable back snuggles, and she’s always ready to soak up attention. She enjoys squeaky toys and chasing balls, but her favorite activity is simply being by your side. Brinkley is still learning that the world is a safe and happy place, so she appreciates a little time to feel comfortable with new people. With a calm approach and a bit of patience, she warms up beautifully and forms deep, loyal bonds. Once she knows you, you’ll have a devoted best friend for life. She does wonderfully with other dogs and would likely enjoy a canine companion. She hasn’t met cats yet. Brinkley has been around several adults and does well, especially with thoughtful introductions. She is fully crate trained, and eager to keep learning. She’ll benefit from continued positive, gentle leash training as she builds confidence on walks. If you’re looking for a loving, snuggly companion with a soft heart and a loyal spirit, Brinkley is ready to fill your home with warmth (and plenty of cuddles!). Story
Meet Lucy — Grace, Goofiness, and Puppy Love All in One   Lucy is a gorgeous 5-month-old Great Dane mix (with Cane Corso, American Pitbull, and Husky in her DNA) who’s shaping up to be a lean, medium-to-large beauty rather than a full-on giant. She embodies that distinctive Dane elegance, with expressive eyes complemented by irresistible, lively puppy energy.   In her foster home, Lucy is outgoing, curious, and always ready for her next adventure. She loves her toys, plays well with other dogs, and absolutely soaks up human attention. Whether it’s playtime or cuddle time, she’s all in.   Lucy is already house- and crate-trained, and she knows her humans’ favorite word—“No”—which immediately gets her attention. Like most young pups, she can be easily distracted and has a short attention span, but she’s eager to learn and is making steady progress. Leash training and wait/stay commands are currently underway.   Having been left at a shelter as a young puppy, Lucy can be a bit shy and nervous at first. The good news? She’s gaining confidence every day in her foster home, especially with the help of another dog showing her the ropes. She’s a sensitive soul who’s clearly on the brink of blossoming.   In the evenings, once the day winds down, Lucy turns into a total sweetheart—she loves curling up close, often choosing her human’s lap as her favorite place to relax. Lucy would truly thrive in a home with another playful dog to help her build confidence, burn off energy, and continue becoming the happy, secure pup she’s meant to be. With love, patience, and a playful companion, Lucy is going to shine.   Ready to give this elegant, affectionate girl the forever home she deserves? Lucy can’t wait to meet you.   A fenced yard is required.  Currently fostered in Cary, NC Interested in adopting Lucy?
