*housebroken *good with cats *energy and with her size no small children *no other dominant females *loves chew toys Beauty was found wandering all alone in Sweetwater, TN near the dump by a Good Samaritan who posted on Facebook in a lost and found group but no one came forward to claim her. :( Our animal control contact then reached out to us for help with this situation and connected us with the finder. At the time, the Monroe County shelter was over capacity and euthanizing on intake. When she arrived at woofwoof fosters it appeared something strange was going on with her eyes. Turns out, she had a condition called Entropion which caused her eyelashes/eyelids to grow inwards! We scheduled her for surgery ASAP as this can lead to blindness if left untreated! Beauty has since recovered from surgery and is now ready for adoption! She can be dog selective, particularly with other dominant females it seems. We plan to continue working with/testing her to further evaluate if she would be able to possibly live with another dog if their temperaments lined up or if she needs to be the only dog in the home. She would do best in a home without young children as she has a LOT of energy and not great body awareness. She loves to run and play and will require mental stimulation in her new home as well as frequent physical stimulation. We think some simple scent trail training or possibly snuffle mats may help meet her needs as she has a curious snout!

This 7-year-old Anatolian Shepherd/Catahoula mix weighs in at 77 pounds of pure, handsome perfection. With his unique facial markings and soulful eyes, he’s the kind of dog that turns heads everywhere he goes. Huck has been in rescue for a few years now, patiently waiting for the perfect family to call his own. He’s fully vetted, dog-friendly, and a total sweetheart. He does great with female dogs, and we’ll be testing him with males soon. Either way, Huck’s gentle nature shines through in everything he does. 🎾 His absolute favorite activity? Playing ball! This big guy loves a good game of fetch and will proudly prance back to you with his toy, tail wagging and heart full of joy. 🥰 Huck is a gentle soul who loves hugs, treats, and snuggle time just as much as playtime. He’s people-friendly and kid-friendly (best with older children due to his size). 🐱 As for cats… well, we’re not entirely sure yet, but something tells us he’d probably try to make friends — or at least politely observe them from afar. 😅 Huck truly is a once-in-a-lifetime dog — sweet, loyal, and full of love. Harley came into rescue in April 2025 after being owner surrendered with his buddy Jethro. Now, he’s hoping his forever family is right around the corner. Harley is a 2 year old Treeing Walker Coonhound/Anatolian Shepherd mix who’s already fully vetted ✅. At 77 lbs, he’s definitely a big guy — but don’t tell him that, because he’s convinced he’s a lap dog 🥹💙. He’s dog friendly and absolutely loves to romp and play with other pups 🐕💨. He hasn’t been tested with cats yet (but we can check if needed). Harley is also kid friendly, though because of his size and playful energy, he’d do best in a home with older children. Harley is a sweetheart through and through — silly, loving, and always ready to play. He might be strong on the leash (sometimes he forgets he’s not a featherweight 😅), but with a little consistency, he’ll be the perfect adventure buddy.
