Story
Meet Draven — the definition of a gentle giant with a heart of gold. 🖤 This handsome senior guy is as sweet as they come and has the kind of soulful eyes that tell a lifetime of stories. Draven is incredibly smart, calm, and loving, always happiest when he’s close to his people soaking up affection and companionship. Despite his big size, he has the gentlest nature and carries himself with such quiet kindness. Draven would love a home where he can enjoy the simple things in life — soft beds, sunny spots, leisurely walks, and plenty of love. He’s the perfect mix of loyal companion and laid-back best friend. Senior dogs have a special kind of magic, and Draven is no exception. He’s ready to spend his golden years being cherished exactly the way he deserves.

Story
I have raised him from a puppy. He is a big baby and loves attention. I work and don't have the time to give him the attention he deserves so he gets out of his pen and I am having trouble with the neighbors. He is around 4 years old and he is penned with his 2 sisters. He knows how to sit. He barks but does not bite or growl at people. He has never been aggressive, he just has been penned up and when he get outs he lots of energy, he walks good on a harness. He is trained with a sound device and if sees you have it he stops dead in his tracks. He is a great big baby but doesn't realize how big he is, so when he wants love he will jump on you and wrap his legs around you. This is heartbreaking for me so I will be very choosy on who gets him, will have to be a meet and great t least twice before he is okayed to leave with you.

Story
Local Adopters Only: This dog is in the Cookeville, TN area. Adoption Donation $100  Finn is a big, sensitive sweetheart who has politely requested a ladies-only household to help him feel his very best. This one-year-old Saint Bernard Mastiff mix weighs around 100 pounds and, once he feels safe and settled, is a playful, medium-energy dog with a soft, marshmallow personality. In a calm and familiar environment, Finn relaxes into a gentle, goofy companion who enjoys playtime and quiet moments alike. One of his cutest habits is carrying around his oversized knotted rope toy like a prized treasure, proudly trotting from room to room with it in his mouth. Finn loves food of all kinds and food is truly the way to his heart, which also makes him very responsive to training. He has completed a basic training course and knows multiple commands, and his trainers are available to help with refresher sessions in a new home to support his continued confidence building. Finn is fully housetrained and crate trained and settles quietly in his crate, though he prefers chew safe bedding since he enjoys nibbling on softer items. He walks very nicely on leash and enjoys long, relaxed walks rather than running. Finn loves playing with other dogs and would thrive with a friendly canine companion to help him feel secure. He is polite and curious around cats and does best with slow, thoughtful introductions. Finn is a very timid boy in new situations and around unfamiliar people, especially men. When he feels overwhelmed, he may bark, growl, tremble, or try to hide, which are all fear based responses rather than aggression. With patience, consistency, and a gentle routine, Finn settles in and shows his affectionate, loyal nature. A quiet, women-only home with a securely fenced yard and at least one friendly dog would be the ideal match for him. If you think Finn could be the gentle giant your home has been waiting for, please contact us for more information.  Interested in adopting?
