Story
Meet Hondo! Hondo is 2 years old, neutered, and current on all vaccines. A very happy and healthy boy! Hondo loves to play fetch and run around outside. He is leash trained and potty trained. While Hondo thinks he is a lap dog even though he weighs upwards of 100 pounds, he is still a big playful boy and would do best in a home without younger children. Hondo is not reactive towards other dogs in public, but would do best in a home without other dogs or cats. he wants all of the attention to himself and deserves it! If you would like to learn more about this sweet boy please reach out!

Story
Welcome Jacks to CCPAL Rescue. Jacks is an 11-month-old Cane Corso/Australian Heeler. He is very affectionate, knows sit, loves water and can open a fence latch. He is a smart boy. He really is attentive and has had a wonderful foster before entering the shelter. He is wonderful at sitting when you ask him to sit. A carabiner is adequate to block him from flipping the latch of the gate open. This is what we use to secure the gate of his kennel. We don’t think he is the type that wants to run away. He is smart and bored in his kennel is all. He is a great dog and we think he would be a great hiker, walker and companion dog for an outdoor enthusiast. He loves all people and doesn’t seem at all bothered by strangers. He is friendly to everyone. He would be fine with children. We like them to be 8 and older due to his size. He weighs about 60 pounds and looks to be a good weight. He has a beautiful blocky head and with the harness on he was relatively easy to walk. We are looking for a moderately active family for this dog. We think he is very handsome and is going to appeal to men because of his beautiful head and athletic build. He is neutered, vaccinated, healthy and ready for his forever home. He is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally in Texas. We can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get this gorgeous dog to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the east Coast. His adoption fee is 300 and transport is 200. . Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Story
It doesn’t take a detective to see how wonderful Sherlock is! Originally found as a stray and brought to us from Animal Care Services, you would never know this brave boy was ever new to the rescue world. He has wasted zero time in showing off his brilliant, sweet temperament at the SNIPSA office, proving that he is a master at solving the mystery of how to win over every heart he meets. Sherlock is currently thriving in foster care, and we believe that with consistent training and continued love, he is well on his way to being the perfect companion. He is cuddly, playful, smart, and fluffy beyond belief... we know it won’t take long before he makes himself a permanent resident in your home! While the SNIPSA team guesses his breed to be a Shepherd mix, his true heritage remains a mystery without a DNA test. Just make sure you have plenty of room for a medium to large-sized dog, and a working vacuum for all that signature fluff, before you bring this special pup home. Apply today to bring Sherlock home!
