Story
Meet Tairn! 🐾 Tairn came to us from another foster situation where the resident dogs were getting a little done with his presence in their home. 😂 He’s a sweet boy who is still working on his manners, but we think there’s a lot of potential underneath that youthful enthusiasm. We’re not completely sure what Tairn is mixed with. We were told possibly Shepherd x Corso, although we’re seeing maybe a little Rottweiler in there too. Honestly, I’d be very interested to find out just what this handsome boy is made of! What we do know is that Tairn has a pretty sad story behind him. He was found abandoned on a property where it was eventually discovered that his owner had actually passed away three years earlier. During that time, someone had been leaving him food and water, but he had essentially been living without any human companionship for three years. And somehow, despite that, Tairn has remained a social, friendly boy who greets new people with a wagging tail. ❤️ He has some catching up to do when it comes to manners and learning what life as a loved and cared-for dog is supposed to look like, but we’re looking forward to helping him figure it all out. After everything he’s been through, Tairn deserves a chance to finally experience what it means to have a family of his own. 🐾❤️ Tairn's adoption fee has been sponsored for an approved adopter!

Story
Ruby is a six year old American Pitbull Terrier/Cain Corso mix from a hoarding case where she endured physical abuse and many hungry nights. We suspect that Ruby was born and raised in that environment and has never received exposure to the outside world. Due to this, it takes Ruby some time to warm up to you.Once she does, she is an in your pocket type of pup! A wonderful sponsor is willing to cover my adoption cost of $225.00 so I can be adopted and enjoy being someone's best friend! All adopters must be vetted and approved to adopt from FOCCAS.Ruby has a way of making you feel wanted, when she greets you with a wagging nub and sweet face after a long day! She is very quiet and doesn't mind other dogs but would do best with a Male. She likes long walks and is doing well with leash training, and knows sit, down, touch and shake already! She does excellent when her foster mom bathes her and clips her nails, and is very patient. She is sweet and gentle until something scares her, then she jumps. She's good on a leash until something startles her, then she pulls.... And she's strong. She's a beautiful girl. Loving and gentle, loves attention but hates excitement. She's not a guard dog, she'll hide behind you in the threat of great danger, or if a butterfly scares her. Quiet, soft, and sweet Ruby, she wants to be right at your feet. Ruby needs to be an only dog.FOCCAS is a foster based, non-profit rescue in Crossville, TN. The adoption fee Includes Age-Appropriate Vaccinations (DA2PPV, Bordetella, Rabies), Deworming, Spay/Neuter, Microchip, Flea/Tick/Heartworm Prevention, and Sheltering. Adult Dogs are Heartworm Tested and Treated as Needed. FOCCAS does not DNA test or guarantee breed. My adoption fee has been donated by an anonymous donor!!! Story
Georgia Mae is a 2-year-old Cane Corso who loves people and kids. She would do best as the only furry member of the family, where she can enjoy having her people all to herself. She loves to play and is always up for a game of fetch or tug-of-war. She also enjoys chasing birds and playing with all kinds of toys. Georgia Mae isn’t a fan of being hugged or snuggled, but she does enjoy pets and scratches. She’s a sweet girl who knows what she likes and is happiest when you respect her space. If you’re looking for a playful, people-loving dog who would thrive as your one and only, Georgia Mae may be a great fit!
