Story
We unfortunately have to get rid of our dog Blake because he hasn’t been doing well with our 11 month old son. He’s too nervous and temperamental around very small children. We would pay for all his care and write a check up front for costs for him. It’s breaking our hearts but we have to for our son. We are desperate. But We are trying at all costs to avoid bringing him to a shelter but if we can’t find placement in 2 weeks it will be our only option. He’s fully trained and very well behaved, 8 years old no medical issues and fully vaccinated. He would need to go to a home without other pets or small children (older children is fine), he’d do really well with a single person, family with older kids or even older couple who need companionship. He’s 8 years old mainly sleeps and wants to cuddle all day. Only barks if someone knocks at the door. Very protective and trained.

Story
Meet Vinci, who we believe is a Black Mouth Cur mix. Vinci's intelligence and curiosity shine through, making her nothing short of exceptional. She's a quick learner who knows an impressive array of tricks and is eager to learn more! She displays no reactivity to other dogs and is absolutely water obsessed! Treats? Gold medalist for catching them! She knows commands like sit, shake, and roll over. She thrives on attention and affection, and aims to please! While Vinci may be a bit shy around new people, especially men, her hesitation melts away as she forms deep connections with those she trusts. Her adaptable nature makes her an ideal fit for a loving family, running companion, or lake buddy! --->For more information or to fill out an adoption application, visit azdawgz.org.
