Story
Meet Kaleigh! /(^.^)\ Hello world, my name is Kaleigh and I am a Carolina Dog Mix weighing approximately 39 pounds. I am estimated to be roughly 4.5 years old. I am a unique and sweet pup who has a heart full of love to share. I am incredibly affectionate, always eager to shower my human companions with love and attention. My true passion in life is playtime, particularly with my beloved dog toys. One other fun fact about me is that I love going to the lake on the Pooch Pontoon. I adore the water - running, splashing, and leaping in the lake brings me so much joy! I am also an excellent car rider and would be a perfect travel companion. I can be good with other dogs but a meet and greet with a new house member would be best! Currently, I am available for adoption. If you`re interested in adopting Kaleigh, please fill out an application online or call the Humane Society of Forsyth County at 770-887-6480. Adoption hours are Tuesday through Thursday 11-5 or Friday and Saturday 1-5. All of my love and kisses, Kaleigh /(^.^)\",AVAILABLE"

Story
Milli is a 4 year old mixed breed. She weighs almost 60 pounds (of muscle) and is house trained. She is very very loyal and loves to be right next to you. She is so sweet and loves attention. She loves all people and is good with children as well. She has been fully professionally trained by 2nd Chance K9 Training and that training and lifetime support will be transferred to anyone who adopts Milli. Unfortunately she needs to be in an only dog home as she does not get along well with other animals. The trainer has had her interact with other dogs under her strict supervision and control but Milli’s exposure to other animals needs to be as minimal as possible without a professional trainer present. The trainer will work with the adopter to make sure they can safely take Milli to the vet as needed. She is one of the trainer’s favorite clients and would be such a great addition to a home without other pets. Please consider giving this sweetheart a loving home!

Story
We rescued this sweet, young puppy found wandering in our neighborhood. She is not microchipped and has been posted widely on social media but no-one has claimed her. Area animal shelters are full. She is very friendly and loyal; she will not wander far from her people. She is very affectionate and loves attention 🙂 She is playful and energetic, loves to run and explore. She would do very well with other playful, active dogs. She is smart and a quick learner, has responded very well to positive reinforcement training. Because she is a puppy with typical puppy enthusiasm, she would do best in a home without small children. We have 2 small reactive dogs at home who are very stressed with her around, so we are desperately seeking a good home for her long term. Please open your heart to this special pup who wants nothing more than to hang out with a family of her own!
