Story
Milli is a 4 year old mixed breed. She weighs almost 60 pounds (of muscle) and is house trained. She is very very loyal and loves to be right next to you. She is so sweet and loves attention. She loves all people and is good with children as well. She has been fully professionally trained by 2nd Chance K9 Training and that training and lifetime support will be transferred to anyone who adopts Milli. Unfortunately she needs to be in an only dog home as she does not get along well with other animals. The trainer has had her interact with other dogs under her strict supervision and control but Milli’s exposure to other animals needs to be as minimal as possible without a professional trainer present. The trainer will work with the adopter to make sure they can safely take Milli to the vet as needed. She is one of the trainer’s favorite clients and would be such a great addition to a home without other pets. Please consider giving this sweetheart a loving home!

Story
I adopted Phoebe from Lifeline Dekalb 2 weeks ago hoping to have my resident dog make a friend. My resident dog is not accepting Phoebe. She is a very good girl. She is very very smart and would be housebroken if I was not having to separate her from my resident dog. She likes to play and he is more of a sunbather. She is learning on the leash and has been great in the car. She loves balls, bones, and squeaky toys. She also is a very good belly run receiver. I have her up on all shots except she will need the Leptospirosis booster in 2 weeks. It breaks my heart but I think she would be much happier with an active home and potentially a runner.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hey guys! I’m Lauren, and I’m a survivor! I got lost from my family and was frantically looking for them when I was hit by a car on I-75. I was hurt so badly, and I was really scared. I laid in the middle of the busy scary road in the grass for a really long time hoping someone would get to me……. Then they did!!! I was scared but happy when nice people from the rescue gave me treats, so I went with them. Sadly, my family never came back for me. I’m staying positive and looking forward to my new family and all the adventures we will go on. Although I had to have surgery to remove my injured leg, it is not slowing me down one bit. My foster mom says I’m such a good girl so smart. She thinks that I could learn lots of new tricks! I’m also potty trained and crate trained and fully vetted. I love to run and play, so a family that wants to go on walks and fun adventures will be ideal. Reach out to the lovely ladies at the rescue and set a play date with me. I can’t wait to meet you!
