Story
I'M UMI! I'M KID AND DOG FRIENDLY. IF YOU'D LIKE TO MEET ME, PLEASE APPLY AT WWW.BARKVILLEDOGRESCUE.ORG/APPLICATIONS OR EMAIL US AT INFO@BARKVILLEDOGRESCUE.ORG. Meet your new best friend, Umi! This 4.5-year-old Pitbull/Shepherd mix is the perfect blend of playful energy and sweet companionship. Weighing in at 55 pounds, she's a great medium size--big enough for adventures, but still happy to curl up close for snuggles. Umi is a social girl who gets along great with other dogs. She's both crate trained and house trained, so she's already got the basics down and is ready to settle into her new routine. She loves car rides (shotgun seat, please!) and is always up for an outing or adventure. Whether it's a trip to the park or just cruising around town, she's happiest when she's by your side. She's energetic and would thrive with an active family who can keep her engaged and exercised. Like many enthusiastic pups, she could use a little polish on her leash manners--but with consistency and guidance, she'll get there in no time! If you're looking for a sweet, friendly, and fun-loving companion who's ready to be part of your everyday life, she might just be your perfect match. Umi is spayed, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. If you're interested in adopting this special girl, please email us at info@barkvilledogrescue.org or submit an application at https://www.barkvilledogrescue.org/applications. BarkVille is located in Roswell, GA and our dogs are available for foster/adoption in the Greater Atlanta area. Applicants in surrounding states could potentially adopt a BarkVille dog if their application is approved, they live within 2-3 hours of the Greater Atlanta area, and they are able to pick up their dog from the foster home.June 3, 2026, 4:36 pm

Story
Scooby!! 6 month puppy. He loves his toys, walks, & other dogs. He is a shelter puppy & he was a quiet, calm boy even in the shelter which is why I chose him. He completed 3 weeks board & train. He walks well on leash. He will place, sit, down, come,& out. He has remained a calm puppy! Even the trainers mentioned how relaxed for his age he is. With training and exercise he is very easy going & happy. Doesn't bark! No prey drive! Rehoming him because out new household is overly busy & short term my life is very uncertain, it would be best for us to rehome him . I would recommend him for a couple or single person who is moderately active & has some knowledge of dogs. Any interest or questions please contact me!!

Story
Ferdinand is a 1 year old male Carolina Dog / Border Collie mix, and is the perfect blend of both breeds - bringing together intelligence, athleticism, and a whole lot of heart. And yes… he really is THAT handsome in person! Ferdinand has a fun, active spirit and loves to stay on the move. You’ll often find him happily trotting around the park, exploring his surroundings with curiosity and confidence. He is agile, playful, and always ready for a little adventure. He also enjoys the excitement of running along the fence line with other dogs, sharing playful energy and making new friends from afar. Story
If you’ve ever wondered what would happen if a golden-eyed parkour athlete got trapped inside the body of a 60-lb friendship enthusiast… congratulations, you’ve just met Buddy. You see him before you hear him — those piercing caramel eyes, that warm, earnest smile — but once he opens his mouth, oh my god. Buddy has opinions. At his very first event he narrated the entire experience like a sports commentator who’d just had four espresso shots. Every person? Needs a greeting. Every dog? A new best friend. Every moment? Announced in real time. He’s tan and white, short-haired and soft, the kind of soft that hints at the sweet, nice-boy heart underneath all that enthusiasm. And the way he moves? Let’s just say the laws of physics are mere suggestions to him. Buddy doesn’t walk — he bounces, ricochets, rebounds. If parkour had a toddler division, he’d medal. He needs supervision in fenced areas because… well… he believes he can fly. And honestly? He kind of can. But here’s the part that sneaks up on you: he’s smart. He’s learning his commands, sits on cue, and is trying very hard to remember that leashes exist for a reason (even though meeting new friends feels more important). He loves people. Loves dogs. Thinks the entire universe is conspiring to give him a good day. Buddy is 3 years old, 60 lbs, and looking for his forever home.
