Story
Tawny is a delightful Carolina Dog mix with a heart full of love and an adventurous spirit. There’s nothing she enjoys more than being with her family, making her the perfect companion for someone looking for a loyal and affectionate pup. Whether she’s lounging in the sun, playing in the yard, or going on an outdoor adventure, Tawny is always happiest when she’s by your side. This sweet girl rides well in the car and is fantastic on a leash, making her an excellent travel and walking buddy. She absolutely loves water, so if you enjoy hiking, camping, or trips to the lake, Tawny will be right there, ready to join in on the fun. Her favorite backyard pasttime - playing a good game of fetch! She gets along wonderfully with all dogs, making her a great addition to a multi-dog household. She would fit right in with a dog that wants to play. She does have a habit of jumping when excited, so a home without toddlers would be best. She has met cats and hasn't tried to chase. Tawny is very affectionate and thrives on attention and affection. She is still working on her potty training but is making great progress in her foster home. With consistency and patience, she will continue to improve. She is content in a kennel but prefers to be around her family on the couch or bed! Currently being fostered in Seguin, TX, Tawny is looking for a forever home where she can be part of an active and loving family. Her adoption fee is $250 for in-state adopters and an additional $300 for out-of-state transport. If you’re searching for a playful, adventurous, and affectionate companion, Tawny is ready to be your best friend! To see more pictures and videos, copy and paste this link. Story
We adopted Koga when he was around 7 months old from a shelter. He is fearful of people he doesn't know, but once he knows you he is very sweet. He is now 9 years old and healthy other than his anxiety issues. His anxiety is something we have worked on non stop, however with our oldest child becoming a toddler his anxiety has started to affect other pets and our children. He needs a home with no children and no other pets. He also needs someone with patience as it takes him some time to get used to new people. His favorite thing to do is play fetch with a ball. He also loves neck and chest rubs.

Story
Meet Marvel! Marvel is a two-and-a-half-year-old Carolina Dog/Basenji mix currently living in Randallstown, MD, whose essence is a vibrant burst of joy wrapped in a luxuriously tan coat. This athletic and spirited boy is ready to explore the world by your side! Marvel thrives on outdoor adventures. Whether it’s bounding through the woods on a hike, joining you for a jog, or chasing a ball, his zest for life will keep you energized. Marvel is also a clever and curious learner who loves puzzle toys and has already mastered tricks like “sit” and “spin.” With his quick mind and eagerness to please, Marvel is excited to learn even more from the right trainer or owner. Marvel has resource guarding tendencies, which means he may act protectively around food, toys, or other valued items. He has made progress with training, but his future family will need to be patient, consistent, and committed to helping him continue this work. Marvel’s adoption includes a professional canine behaviorist session to guide his transition and provide tools to support his success. With the right training and understanding, Marvel can thrive and grow into the incredible companion he’s meant to be. Marvel’s future family should also be active and adventurous, sharing his love for the outdoors. A fenced yard would be a bonus, but daily exercise and engaging activities are essential. While he enjoys the company of other dogs, Marvel would do best with a savvy owner who can manage introductions and interactions thoughtfully. Marvel is crate-trained and comfortable being alone for short periods. He is fully vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped, with a solid obedience training foundation and a willingness to keep learning. If you’re excited to build a lifelong bond with Marvel and are ready to guide him as he continues to grow and overcome his resource-guarding tendencies, he could be the perfect addition to your family. Story
Woodrow is an amazing dog in so many ways. He's healthy, adorable, and too smart for his own good. He enjoys curling up on the couch or bed, stretching in the sunlight, and extra long walks. He's very food motivated and has a willful understanding of basic commands (stay, touch, sit, come, you free, down, and go to your spot) as well as "bear" where he'll hop up on his hind legs. I get stopped and asked about his breed, but unknown. He has been a wonderful companion, but a pending life change means I'm now looking to rehome him. I will pay you to support all his expenses. Unfortunately, Woodrow has had behavioral issues since I first adopted him 12 years ago. Despite living a very pampered life, he is territorial to a fault. He's had some formal training and behaviorist consultation, but remains highly temperamental. While able to accept new people with time and intention, he remains minimally socialized with other dogs or strangers. He needs a loving home that can accept him as he is.
