Story
Meet Sonny, the 5 month Old Carolina Mix With the Sweetest Routine Sonny is a 5 month old male Carolina mix weighing 30 pounds and packed with playful, puppy energy. He loves to romp, explore, and play with his siblings, but he also has the cutest little habit that sets him apart, he puts himself to bed. When he’s done for the day, Sonny is done. He is always the first to put himself to bed at night, curling up and settling in while everyone else is still bouncing around. It’s the sweetest thing to watch and shows just how smart and self-regulated this boy already is. Energetic, adorable, and full of personality, Sonny is the perfect mix of fun and easygoing. He’s ready for a family who will appreciate his playful spirit and his precious bedtime routine. This little guy is a gem. To see more pictures and videos, copy and paste this link. Story
Meet Buddy! Buddy is a gentle, sweet 5-year-old Carolina Dog mix with a calm, low-energy personality that makes him an easy companion to love. He gets along wonderfully with other dogs and would fit right into a home with canine friends—or soak up the love as your only pup. This kind boy is also great with kids and would thrive in a calm household or with a family that has older children. Buddy enjoys cozy moments on the couch just as much as he enjoys getting out for walks or relaxed hikes. He walks beautifully on a leash, making every outing with him peaceful and enjoyable. Buddy already knows how to sit and takes treats with the softest, sweetest manners. With his gentle nature and affectionate heart, he’s ready to be the perfect companion for someone who wants a loyal friend by their side. If you’re looking for a kind, easygoing dog to share life’s quiet moments—and a few adventures—with, Buddy might be your perfect match. We travel to WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT and Canada (Canadian adopters will need to pick up in Bellingham, WA  or Brattleboro, VT for the eastern Canadian border)! Our pups travel in comfort with 24/7 care on our USDA licensed vehicles, including buses and cargo vans. You can join along on our private Facebook event page to follow their adventure, connecting you with other adopters and providing updates throughout their transport journey!   You will get to meet your new pup over a video call before signing paperwork, creating a fun and personalized adoption experience!    The adoption fee is $1,200 and includes all vetting (DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, a 12 month heartworm preventative injectable, heartworm test and treatment if needed, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and priceless years of love and loyal companionship!    We have over 15,000 successful adoptions so far and have excellent Google Reviews: https://g.co/kgs/UQ5Pyai We care deeply about making the perfect match between dog and family for long term success.    Our rescue has a 2 acre property in Texas where we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group trainings and socialization play groups to keep dogs adoption-ready. Our on-site trainers support the positive growth of our dogs and we enjoy seeing their progress!    Our commitment to comprehensive medical care sets us apart. We've received glowing feedback from veterinarians who commend our dedication to ensuring the health and well-being of every animal in our care with treatments that often go above and beyond.   Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet.    The rescue’s hard costs alone (excluding transport) for a healthy dog to go through our program typically range between $412 to $859, which includes boarding, food, medications, vaccines, and spay/neuter. For heartworm-positive dogs, hard costs are upwards of $1,368. Additionally, dogs requiring extended boarding, extra training, or extra medical care—such as dental work, vision care, or orthopedic care—can lead to expenses running into the thousands. Also, included in the adoption fee are costs to cover transport up to the Pacific Northwest or East Coast. Transport is a significant additional expense to the rescue.  While adoption fees help cover part of these expenses, we want to emphasize that the rescue does not receive government funding and must fundraise to offset the remaining expense balance which ranges $100-1,000++ per animal on these direct costs.   It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these SPECIAL PERKS:   Extensive behavioral testing and information from trainers on our staff to ensure the perfect fit for your family  Discounts on Embark DNA test kit- $30 off of Breed ID test & $50 off of Breed ID plus Health test 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion A free private online dog training session with GoodPup, plus low pricing for future sessions  70% off of your first order of Fetch, a delicious PNW based fresh dog meatballs subscription Coupons for a fun visit to Petco 20% off of Dr. Cuddles pet first aid and hygiene solutions Discounted heartworm, flea prevention, and monthly dewormer  Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup!   Did you know that the Greater Houston area faces some of the highest stray and overpopulation rates in the nation? We are a non profit charity. Our goal is simple— to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and by rescuing animals from the streets or overcrowded shelters where euthanasia due to lack of space is often the only option. The dog you've found online is not only lucky to be in our program, but also incredibly fortunate to have caught your eye. Thank you for considering adoption and for joining us in our mission!   Follow our rescue journey and connect with us on our website and social media platforms. Story
Your Future Partner in Fun and Shenanigans! Looking for a four-legged comedian who can turn even the dullest day into a laugh riot? Well, Dewey is your guy! This 1.5 to 2-year-old Carolina Dog mix weighs in at a sleek 45-50 pounds of pure joy and mischief. Dewey is the kind of pup who believes that life is one big playground and everyone's invited. He's playful, happy, and has a knack for making you forget that you just stepped on his chew toy (again). With a personality as vibrant as his wagging tail, he's sure to keep you entertained with his goofy antics and infectious enthusiasm. Despite his playful spirit, Dewey knows when to dial it down. He's got that perfect mid-level energy—ready for a backyard adventure one minute and a snooze fest the next. He's crate trained and considers his crate the ultimate chill zone for his nightly doggy dreams. Got other pets? Dewey's cool with that! He's been living it up with canine buddies of all shapes and sizes and hasn't met a fur friend he didn't like. As for humans, he's a certified lovebug who thinks strangers are just friends he hasn't licked yet. If you're in the market for a loyal sidekick who's equal parts fun and affection, Dewey might just be your perfect match. But be warned: adopting Dewey may result in excessive smiling, random bouts of laughter, and a lifelong supply of unconditional love. +++++++ ADOPTION APPLICATION: https://form.jotform.com/210515484620146

Story
This dog is currently out of state but will be transported to New England shortly with no additional travel costs. The long distance adoption process includes talking to the foster they are living with in the south. Roughly 90% of our dogs are successfully long distance adopted and 10% adopted locally. **Please read Gin Spirits' entire profile, which includes a link to the adoption application at the end. Thank you!** Rounding out the SPIRITS litter is Gin Spirits, an 8-week-old Carolina Dog/Anatolian Shepherd mix, weighing 15 pounds (as of 1/30/26)! Gin was born born in Tennessee to nice, mellow medium-to-large breed dogs (pictured) which means as she grows, there'll be more to love! While her Momma is staying with their owner, Gin is ready to move onto bigger and better i.e. a classy New England home with you! Gin is a playful puppy who'll constantly keep you entertained with her antics and cuteness. But why keep her all to yourself? Gin is great with kids and other dogs, so you should definitely bring her to your next family picnic. Everyone will be so distracted by her friendliness, they won't even ask you about your depressing love life! It's a win-win! Gin would be great in a patient home where she can master puppy training and obedience school with tender loving care. She can't wait to grow and be the best companion for you! So don't be sad that your Bumble date ghosted! Gin will be right here with all the love you need! Adopt this cuddly girl today! All dogs are up to date on vaccinations and spayed/neutered at the time of adoption. All dogs require professional training to become the best family member they can be. Patron hails from our SPIRITS litter and was born in Tennessee to nice, mellow medium-to-large breed dogs. While the owner is keeping Momma, this litter was surrendered so they could find a top-shelf fur-ever home in New England! The best thing about Patron is that he brings the fun of Mexico to you! He's an exuberant boy who's the perfect companion for anyone who needs a night out! Bonus points is that he also loves kids and plays with other dogs, so he'll be the most popular boy on your block! Even strangers will come up and ask to party with you (but you gotta check with Patron because you can't just invite any Joe Schmoe!) Since Patron is still young, he'll need some help with puppy training, crates and commands from his future family. In exchange for your help, he'll give you complimentary glasses from all the places he's traveled (mainly Tennessee, but hey! Have YOU been to Tennessee? If not, then take the win.) Patron can't wait to add some fun flavor to your family! Bring this sweet boy home today! All dogs are up to date on vaccinations and spayed/neutered at the time of adoption.
