Story
Meet Carmen — your new best friend and sunshine on four paws! At around 1–2 years old and 42 lbs, Carmen is the perfect medium-sized mix of sweetness, fun, and easygoing charm. She’s friendly with everyone she meets — dogs, kids, and people alike — and thrives in doggie playgroups where her gentle, social nature really shines. Carmen is a dream on the leash, making every walk a joy. She loves rolling in the grass, exploring the world around her, and soaking up attention from anyone willing to give it. She’s also been around children as young as two and was absolutely wonderful with them. This lovely girl appears to be housebroken, is spayed, fully vetted, and ready to join her forever family. Carmen’s happy personality and loving heart make her a truly special companion — the kind of dog who brings warmth, laughter, and love into any home. If you’re looking for a loyal, gentle, and fun-loving best friend, Carmen is the one! Apply to adopt CARMEN SCAS at www.ehrdogs.org.November 23, 2025, 1:33 am

Story
Say hello to Dodger, the 5-year-old, 52-pound bundle of joy with ears that could catch the wind! Dodger’s charming personality and goofy antics are sure to steal your heart in an instant. He’s an affectionate, intelligent, and playful pup who loves nothing more than spending time with his favorite people – could that be you? Dodger’s journey hasn’t been easy. Abandoned by his previous owner who had moved away, Dodger was left in a crowded shelter and was at risk of being euthanized due to space limitations. But his story took a turn for the better when he found a loving foster home where he blossomed into the sweet, obedient dog he is today. He's eager to please, and in his foster home, he thrived alongside two kids (5 and 7 years old), showing just how wonderful he can be with young ones (see his video on his 11th Hour profile)! When it comes to Dodger’s favorite things, he’s all about tummy rubs, rolling in the grass, and long walks. Car rides? He’s there for them, tail wagging in excitement. Dodger is also great with toys and is known to be a lap pet who will happily curl up with you after a fun day of play. His goofy side will keep you smiling, and his loyalty will keep you feeling loved and cherished. Dodger would prefer to be the only dog in his future home; so he could get all your attention to himself. He’s house-trained and leash-trained, and he’ll make a wonderful addition to a home that’s ready to never leave him behind. Dodger is fixed, up to date on immunizations, and microchipped. His adoption fee is $415. If you’re ready to open your heart and home to this sweet, eager-to-please pup, apply to adopt DODGER LIZMAN today at EHRDOGS.ORG ! September 24, 2025, 2:56 am

Located in Tennessee but can be transported through Rescue Riders. Daisy was brought in with day old puppies, surrendered due to her being chained to a dog house. She is sweet girl who loves people! She is energetic, happy and gets along with other dogs. She has a very joyful personality who did not let her start ruin her life. She knows her name, does okay on a leash and does well in a car. She would be a great adventure companion who is open to new adventures with a new family.

Story
This is my sweet, sweet girl Lola. I have had her for 5 years and she’s the best girl. She is on the more timid side when meeting people and when she’s anxious she tends to hide. When she’s anxious she will also eat things like socks and underwear. She opens up to women faster than to men but once she’s comfortable she’s a big cuddler. She’s on the quiet side and doesn’t bark unless someone knocks on the door. She loves to be outside or look out the window. She loves walks but can get anxious on walks when there’s a lot of noises and things going on. It breaks my heart because she’s my best friend but I just had a baby and as a single mom I can’t give her the love and attention she deserves.

Story
**Please note this is pet is currently out of town pet but we will transport this pet to NJ for you when adopted. All fees listed include transport fees.** Robin is a 3-year-old male and a true survivor! He has overcome incredible odds and deserves the best forever home. Two years ago, this brave boy was on the euthanasia list due to a severe injury after getting caught in a kennel door. We saved his leg, and although it's permanently deformed, it doesn’t slow him down one bit! Robin has a pawsitively infectious zest for life! Weighing about 47 pounds, he is most likely a mix of Carolina dog, Staffordshire Terrier, American Pit Bull Terrier, and maybe even some Kelpie. With that DNA and his resilient spirit, Robin truly is a super mutt! Here are some more things to know about Robin: He is potty and crate trained and understands basic commands. He is also a saint in a crate. Robin is great with other dogs and kids and loves being around humans of all ages. He walks well on a leash and loves exploring the world with you. He’s a resilient, loving, and spirited dog who’s ready to fill your home with joy and companionship. Interested in becoming a forever home for Robin? Fill out our online adoption application: http://www.friendswithfourpaws.org/adoption-form.html This is the first step in our process, and we don't go any further without an application. Find more adoptable pets, news and information on Instagram @friendswithfourpaws or our Facebook page Friends with Four Paws . We put a lot of time and energy into processing our adoptions to find our babies the best fit home for them and you. Please do not submit an application if you are not serious about adopting Robin. We are so excited to work with you to find you a new forever friend, and Robin the perfect forever home, and appreciate you working with us. For immediate consideration, please attach your application to the initial inquiry to help us expedite the process. Our adoption fee is $525. This includes their spay/neuter surgery, full (age appropriate) vaccinations, microchip insertion and registration, deworming, heartworm testing and prevention, flea and tick prevention and travel expenses. All of our dogs are rescued from local shelters and the general public. Each dog is then placed in a foster home where he/she is kept for quarantine, to ensure if the dog gets sick it can receive proper treatment. We have foster homes in the NJ/NY area waiting to receive their fosters. Once an animal has received an application or there's an adopter interested, we make arrangements for transport. If a dog is already in foster care in NYC/NJ, an adopter will be put in touch with the foster home AFTER an application is being processed. Thank you in advance for your patience with our process and for making adoption YOUR option!
