Meet Honeybee Straight from the same heartbreaking hoarding situation as Petunia, Honeybee and her sister Bumblebee are finally getting the fresh start they have always deserved. Honeybee is one half of our Honeycomb Sisters alongside her sister, Bumblebee. These precious hound/cur mix girls are truly as sweet as their names. Honeybee is the lighter-colored sister, soft and golden like warm honey. She weighs around 40-45 pounds and has the gentlest soul imaginable. She’s spayed, up-to-date on vaccines and preventions, and ready to start her happily ever after. Honeybee walks beautifully on a leash, loves belly rubs, and absolutely melts when she’s being loved on. She can be a tiny bit shy at first, but once she warms up, she becomes the sweetest little shadow that just wants affection and companionship. She’s wonderful with children, fantastic with other dogs, and even seemed perfectly fine meeting cats while on leash. Her sister Bumblebee is the darker-colored sister with rich darker coloring but still golden that reminded me of a fuzzy little bumblebee the moment I saw her. Honeybee is estimated to be around 1-2 years old and truly is the kind of dog that fits beautifully into almost any home. Gentle, loving, calm, grateful, and finally learning what it feels like to be safe. After everything she’s been through, we cannot wait to see Honeybee spoiled and loved the way she always should have been.  Fill out an adoption application to have her join your family.  Her $475 adoption fee to cover medical care to include vaccines, spay, microchip, foster care and transportation from Louisiana from NY. ##2735084##

Story
It’s Laundry Day at Seventh Heaven… and Clementine’s Clean Little Crew Is Ready to Fold Into Your Heart! Five tiny loads of sweetness.Zero fabric softener required. Meet Clementine’s babies — Gabe, Caleb, Holly, Joy, and Seth — 18 weeks old and freshly fluffed with personality. They’re all up-to-date on vaccinations, not yet spayed/neutered, and currently weighing between 8 pounds (with updated weights coming Friday). And let me tell you… each one of these little socks-from-the-dryer has a personality all their own. Holly is the queen of the laundry basket. She rules the roost and knows it. The largest of the crew, she carries herself like royalty… but still wiggles head to tail like the baby she is. Joy is next in line for leadership — or at least she thinks so — until you look at her. Then she immediately flops onto her back requesting belly rubs like it’s her full-time job. Among the boys, Caleb would win “Most Outgoing.” He’s confident, curious, and always first to investigate what’s happening. Gabe and Seth are right behind him — all three boys are a little smaller in size and wonderfully laid-back. Easygoing. Happy. Sweet as can be. Honestly? Each one of these puppies, all by themselves, is pure happiness. The kind of joy that wiggles from head to tail when they see you. They LOVE human attention. They want to be near you. With you. Part of your world. They may be tiny now, but their sweetness fills an entire basket. If you’re ready to bring home a little love that smells better than fresh linen and feels softer than your favorite blanket… one of Clementine’s babies is ready to go home. It’s laundry day… and someone’s heart is about to be folded into forever. Now let’s talk about the “group dynamic.” When all five siblings are together, it’s full-on puppy party. They bounce, they wrestle, they play like littermates do — happy, busy, curious little explorers. It’s joyful chaos in the very best way. But here’s the sweet part — when separated one-on-one, their personalities soften beautifully. Individually, they are calmer, more attentive, and incredibly people-focused. In their own homes, without sibling competition, we truly believe their gentle, loyal little hearts will shine even brighter. He will need ongoing puppy training and socialization.  Please fill out an adoption application if you would like him to join your family.  His $550 adoption fee covers medical care up to adoption to include vaccines, neuter, microchip, foster care and transportation from Louisiana to NY. ##2576555##

Story
Tanna’s story almost ended before it had the chance to begin. This beautiful 4‑year‑old girl was rescued from a North Carolina shelter just minutes before euthanasia, and she’s been proving ever since that she was absolutely worth saving. At 45 lbs, fully vaccinated, and soon to be spayed, Tanna is a likely Carolina Dog / Shiba Inu mix, complete with the signature Shiba curly tail. She’s a calm, quiet companion in the home, fully house‑trained and crate‑trained, and she loves hopping in the car for a ride. Tanna prefers to be the only dog in the home. She’s reactive to other dogs on leash, so a family willing to give her space and structure will help her shine. She does wonderfully with adults and older children who understand how to give her a gentle, respectful environment. If you’re looking for a loyal, low‑key companion who’s already mastered home life, Tanna may be your girl. Contact Julie at 919‑624‑0059 or julie@arcadiarescue.org to learn more.
