Story
Jerald is the canine equivalent of that friend who always hangs out in the corner at parties—he`s been at one of our partner shelters for 7 long months, just waiting for someone to scoop him up and show him what fun really looks like. You’d think they’d have given him the “Most Patient Pup” award by now!Being in a kennel has made Jerald a little shy and unsure, kind of like when you show up to a dance party and realize you don’t know the moves. But don’t worry, with the right family, he’ll be busting out the worm in no time! He’s got a gentle soul, and all he needs is a patient, loving home—just no sudden salsa lessons, please.Jerald is good with other dogs, which means he`s basically the life of the dog park! Cats, on the other hand, are like the unpredictable wild cards—he might chase them if they`re feeling a bit spicy or decide to role-play as a dog-copter. And kids? They’re great, as long as they understand the two golden rules: respect Jerald’s boundaries and don’t ask him to share his snacks—he’s got his priorities straight! After waiting far too long to trade kennel floors for cozy couches, Jerald is ready to learn what it means to be truly loved. So if you`re looking to add a little shy sweetness (and maybe some doggy shenanigans) to your life, Jerald is your guy!

Story
Please note that we are a TX based rescue. We transport our dogs to new homes once adopted. All our dogs reside in foster homes in TX. Our app can be found at haydudeequine.org Hi. I’m Bella. Yes, that Bella—the one who literally chose her human. One day I just… followed my now-mom and her dogs home like, “This seems right.” And honestly? Best decision I’ve ever made. I’m about 2 years old (vet’s best guess, but have you seen my teeth? Very white. Very youthful. Iconic.) and 66 pounds of smart, sweet, slightly opinionated perfection. I’m some kind of part Shepherd/part angel mixup of breeds, which basically means I’m beautiful, athletic, and smarter than your average roommate. Let’s get into my resume: • Human-Oriented Queen – I like to be near my person. Preferably always. • Extremely Smart – I learned sit, high five, and treat-catching immediately. I’m basically a prodigy. • Toy Enthusiast – my stuffed Highland cow and tiny T-rex? My prized possessions. • Excellent Communicator – I will bark to let you know when I need to go out to do my bidness in the yard. Efficient. Clear. Respectful. A few notes from management (me): I prefer to approach new people on my terms—no surprise greeters, please. I’ve got boundaries, and honestly, good for me. I do great with other dogs, but have not been exposed to cats. I am a loyal companion to my people. My dream home: A fenced yard (I love my space), lots of walks (I love my walkies), and a human who appreciates a smart, loyal, slightly sassy best friend. Favorite things: Ear scratches, back rubs, snacks I catch mid-air, and being told I’m a good girl (because I am). If you’re looking for a dog who will choose you, stick by your side, make you laugh, and keep life interesting… I’m already halfway home. —Bella 🐾
