He’s got great energy for playtime but is just as happy to curl up and relax with his favorite people. If you’re looking for a joyful, affectionate pup who will light up your days and bring fun wherever he goes, Sammie’s your guy! **Note - RTH enforces a strict spay/neuter policy. Story
Wednesday is currently in a foster home in HOUSTON, TX and is eligible to transport to an adopter as soon as one is lined up. Our adoption application can be found at the bottom of this pet's bio. Once your application has been approved, we'll arrange a virtual meet & greet with you and Wednesday. Meet Wednesday! Wednesday and her brother Pugsley were found roaming as strays at a local public school. They both were crossing a busy street and teachers were worried they would get hit by a car. One of the teachers reached out to us for help with getting the 2 off the streets and we were able to take them both in. Wednesday is now in a loving foster home and is flourishing, but she's ready for her forever home! Wednesday is estimated to be about 6 months old (as of 12/13/25) and is fully vaccinated and microchipped. She'll be spayed between 6 months - 1 year of age. Wednesday is a shepherd mix and currently weighs 30 pounds. We do anticipate she will grow to be a medium - large sized pup once she's fully grown. Breed, age & estimated weight are all based off of our vet's best estimate since we don't have any parents to go off of. Wednesday is dog friendly and currently lives with other dogs in her foster home. She enjoys running and playing with her doggie foster siblings. She's young and still has some puppy energy, but her foster mom also describes her as a couch potato who enjoys cuddles on the couch with her human. Wednesday is also cat friendly and currently lives with cats in her foster home. Her foster mom describes her as very calm and says that Wednesday is fine with the cats and doesn't really pay any attention to them. Wednesday is kid friendly and has been around children ages 2 and 8 and she is so sweet and gentle with everyone. Wednesday is potty and crate trained and does well in her crate! She stays in there while her foster mom is away from home for work or errands. She sleeps in bed with her foster mom at night time and is such a good girl. She curls up in bed and sleeps all through the night. Wednesday is still a young pup, so she's still learning to walk on a leash, but she's such a smart girl and a quick learner! Wednesday is great in the car and just sits back and enjoys the ride! Here's a small blurb about Wednesday from her foster mom: Wednesday is the sweetest girl and deserves the best home! She enjoys the company of her human and doggie companions and loves being near you and spending time with you. She's very patient with little kiddos and doesn't pay attention to the cats. She is gentle, sweet and cuddly. She's the perfect companion to take out to a coffee shop and just have her sit at your feet. She truly doesn't know a stranger! We've taken her to multiple events and she loves meeting new people and getting cuddles. She'll make the perfect addition to any loving family! Story
Nova is a smart, affectionate, playful young dog who loves being close to her people. Born in April 2024, she forms strong bonds and truly thrives when she gets individual attention and time to connect. While Nova enjoys playtime and interactive toys, she also has a very calm, cuddly side. One-on-one, she is happy to relax beside you on the couch, watch TV, and simply enjoy being near her person. She currently lives in a very busy foster home with multiple dogs, so a lot of her excitement comes from finally getting opportunities for attention, play, and engagement. When her emotional and physical needs are met, Nova settles nicely and shows what a loving companion she really is.AARF Houston transports to approved adopters outside of Texas.

Story
Roky is an 8-month-old puppy I found on the street when he was barely a month old. I have tried to settle him into my home, but honestly, I cannot dedicate the time he needs because my other, older dog has been diagnosed with diabetes and requires a lot of attention. I am looking for a loving person—without other pets—who can give him the care a puppy requires.

Story
🐾 Meet Cooper 🐾 Cooper’s story is one of resilience, loyalty, and hope. Several years ago, Cooper’s owner placed him in boarding for what was supposed to be a temporary stay. Tragically, his owner passed away, and Cooper was left behind with no one to come for him. What began as a short stay turned into nearly three years of living in a boarding kennel, waiting and wondering if anyone would ever choose him again. Thankfully, Magnolia Tails Rescue stepped in and gave Cooper a second chance. Now, after spending far too much of his life behind kennel doors, Cooper is finally ready to find the loving forever home he deserves. Cooper is a people-pleaser through and through. He loves spending time with his humans, going for walks, and splashing around in water. His happy personality shines when he’s with people, and he’s eager to be someone’s loyal companion. Cooper does well with larger dogs but is not a good fit for a home wit
