Story
Bella is a beautiful, loving, 10 year old female. She loves one on one attention; I am an avid reader and Bella is a great reading buddy. Our problems started a few years ago when we got a puppy. Bella took a very long time to get adjusted. She would lash out at the pup and occasionally pee outside of the litter box. We also travel a great deal which is very upsetting for her. Although we always have a sitter, bc of her attachment issues, Bella is very angry and agitated a for days after we return. Recently my daughter moved home with her dog and everyday is a challenge and upsetting to her. Our situation is no longer livable as she has started peeing outside of her box and is constantly agitated. Bella needs a loving, quiet, home where she can give and receive love & attention without excess travel, other animals or children. If you are looking for a forever friend, Bella is your gal!

Story
HI - I'M TIKI, a beautiful tortoiseshell 4-month-old kitten in need of a forever home! My littermates and I were found in a backyard in the desert when we were only a month old. Our mom never returned, so thankfully we were rescued. All of us are extremely sweet and affectionate, and we love belly rubs. I'm quite energetic and always am ready to play. I would love a home with another cat/kitten, where I can play and snuggle. I am currently in California, but can be transported to you in Idaho. Please email for an application and additional photos of my littermates and I!

Story
Meet Gabbie, an extremely sweet and affectionate little 12-week-old girl. Gabbie has a very unique black and white tuxedo coat pattern with a striking undercoat. She has a "smoke" or what is sometimes called a "Fever Coat" undercoat that is stripes and swirl spots like a tabby. Beautiful. She is very human oriented and loves to snuggle, cuddle and be with her humans. She loves affection as much as she will give it in return with head boops, cheek rubs and very loud purrs. Gabbie does love to talk and will tell you all about her day when you initiate conversation. Come bedtime she is quick to cuddle up close and purr herself, and you, to sleep. She gets along very well with other cats as she has been fostered with multiple others and is constantly wrestling and playing with her foster siblings. Gabbie will need to go to a forever home that will keep her health in her best interest. She did test positive for FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) and may be potentially susceptible to getting sick from common feline colds with a compromised immune system. Cats with FIV can, and very often do, live a healthy cats full life span and can be homed with other cats that are non-FIV. Per HJC policy, and especially with her FIV, Gabbie must stay exclusively indoors to limit her exposure to potentially harmful bacteria and viruses. If you have any question about Gabbie, FIV or would like to adopt her, please complete an adoption application or give us a call.

Story
Lulu & Georgie Bonded sisters looking for a calm, patient home Lulu and Georgie are 1½-year-old bonded sisters who are incredibly sweet but very shy. They are beautiful grey tabbies with soft, smooth fur and stunning spots and stripes. Georgie is the bigger sister and the more fearful of the two. Lulu is a little smaller and more confident—when she feels safe and happy, she’ll roll over and ask for belly rubs. These girls are deeply attached to each other. They play, play-fight, snuggle, and clearly rely on one another for comfort and security. They must be adopted together. What they need to thrive: Lulu and Georgie need a patient adopter who understands shy cats and is willing to help them build confidence instead of hiding long-term. That means: Starting them in a small, quiet room Blocking hiding spots (no unders like beds, couches, or dressers) Spending calm, consistent time nearby with food, treats, and play This confidence-building approach, often recommended by Jackson Galaxy, helps fearful cats learn that people are safe. When they first arrived in their current foster home, they were so scared they would only eat Churu for a few days. They are now eating better and filling out, though they still nibble small meals, likely due to stress. With routine, patience, and stability, this should continue to improve. Lulu and Georgie are not instant lap cats, but for someone kind and committed, watching them learn to trust will be incredibly rewarding. 💛 Best suited for a calm home with a patient adopter experienced with shy or fearful cats.

Story
Milo. Milo is a short/medium length, super soft and fluffy Mackerel Tabby with impressive ear tufts. Milo has an apple head and large ears. He is the epitome of kitten cuteness. He has a compact shape, adorable meow and quiet, but rumbly purr. When Milo sees you he raises a paw and often does a little prancy dance. Adorable! Milo and Mack are a pair. They are Brothers from another mother. Milo is not as outgoing as Mack, but is not a shy kitty. He likes more one on one attention. Mack and Milo get along well with the other cats in my house. They have met the dogs and can be a little bratty towards them. Cat savvy dogs that don't show too much interest would be best.
