Story
Howie is a handsome 9-year-old gentleman with a heart as big as his personality. In one word? Amazing. This special senior came to us when his previous family could no longer keep up with his medical care. Thanks to the incredible dedication of our veterinary team and staff, Howie’s diabetes is now in remission — something we are so proud of. Howie is happily in remission, but continued monitoring will be important to keep him feeling his best, as diabetes can sometimes require treatment again down the road.Howie will do best with a family who can stay attentive to his health, keep him on a managed diet, and work with an established veterinarian. With consistency and care, he is doing beautifully and enjoying life to the fullest.Howie is a total attention hog who wants to be wherever you are. He absolutely adores people, thrives on companionship, and if he thinks you’ve stopped petting too soon, he may offer a tiny reminder nip — just his funny, sweet way of asking for more love. He is affectionate, devoted, and full of personality.Howie is a very special boy who means a great deal to us. He is looking for a home that will cherish him, stay mindful of his care, and love him for the wonderful companion he is — and in return, he will give you endless affection, loyalty, and heart.

Story
Bunt is a 6-month-old neutered black-and-white boy with a gentle heart and a quiet, thoughtful nature. Found as an orphan, this sweet little guy is still learning that the world can be safe and full of kindness.Bunt can be a bit bashful at first, especially in new surroundings. He’ll do best in a calm home where he can take his time and build confidence at his own pace. And here’s the beautiful part — we hear it so often: shy kittens get adopted and, within weeks, they’re zooming through the house and acting like they’ve owned it forever. We imagine Bunt may very well surprise everyone the same way.He enjoys toys and playful moments, especially when he forgets to be shy and just lets himself be a kitten. He also truly enjoys the company of other cats. In fact, his good friend here is Pirate, and their sweet friendship gives him comfort and confidence. A feline friend in his new home could help him blossom even more.Picture Bunt starting out as your quiet little shadow… then slowly deciding you’re his person. The first purr. The first playful sprint down the hallway. The first time he curls up nearby. Those moments are truly special.Bunt would be happy in a home with another friendly cat, and for those considering two, his bond with Pirate is a lovely one to see. Together they make a sweet, comforting little pair.If you have a peaceful home and a little patience, Bunt may grow into the sweetest, most devoted companion you could hope for.

Story
Odin is a one-year-and-three-month-old boy with a big personality and an even bigger heart. Social, outgoing, and wonderfully talkative, Odin truly enjoys being part of the action and loves connecting with his people. He’s the kind of cat who will happily chat with you, keep you company, and make sure you always know he’s nearby.Odin is playful and full of fun — he loves feather wands, toy balls, fuzzy mice, spring toys, laser pointer games, and of course, catnip. He enjoys staying active, then settling in for cozy moments like lounging in a sunny window, relaxing in his cat condo, or curling up beside his favorite people for snuggles and gentle chin scratches. He has lived around other cats and may do well again with proper introductions. Odin is a confident, expressive boy who appreciates respectful handling and would do best with a cat-savvy adopter or a home with older, gentle children who understand feline boundaries. In return, he offers affection, companionship, and lots of personality. If you’re looking for a playful, talkative, loving companion who enjoys both fun and closeness, Odin may be the perfect match.

Story
Meet Delivery About two years old, Delivery is a truly beautiful girl with the softest expression and the kindest heart. She was found in a garage alongside another kitty who has already been adopted — and now it’s Delivery’s turn for a fresh start.Delivery is gentle. She is sweet. She is thoughtful in the way quiet cats often are. Right now she may seem a little bashful, and that’s okay. Shelter life can feel big and busy, and Delivery is simply taking it all in.In a calm home where she can exhale, settle in, and move at her own pace, we fully expect this lovely girl to blossom. Shy kitties often form the deepest bonds — they just need a little patience and reassurance at first. A cozy bed, a sunny window, and a human who understands that trust is built gently… that’s where Delivery will shine. If you have room in your heart (and on your couch) for a kind, beautiful companion who just needs a little time to bloom, Delivery may be the one you’ve been waiting for.Fill out an adoption interest form at upaws.org and let’s help Delivery start her next chapter.
