Story
Hi there, my name is Loretta. I am a very sweet and laidback kitty that would love nothing more than a warm lap, good food, and the love of a forever family. I’m a quiet cat, looking for a home without any dogs, cats, or young children so I can relax and take naps in the sunshine with you. Adopting a senior cat like me would be a perfect fit for families that enjoy a more relaxed household. With a senior cat, what you see is, for the most part, what you get when it comes to temperament and personality!I am currently under the care of the shelter medical team at HSHV. If you would like to learn more about me, please reach out to the Adoption Desk at (734) 662-5585.

Story
Shallot – From Street Scout to Sofabed King  Shallot is a young, cross-eyed Siamese tomcat with movie-star looks and a heart that’s ready for his happily-ever-after. For at least a year, this handsome boy roamed his neighborhood—no microchip, unneutered, relying on the kindness of neighbors who made sure he was fed but unable to offer him a true home. While we may not know how he ended up there, we do know he’s more than ready for an indoor home of his own. What started as a simple TNR turned into something much more special. Shallot made it clear he was ready to trade in the street life for the cushy indoor upgrade. Regular meals? Yes, please. A warm bed? Absolutely. Not having to sleep with one cross-eyed peeper open? Sold. Now safely indoors and newly neutered at two years old, Shallot is settling into this next phase of life. He’s sweet, chill, and adjusting beautifully as his hormones level out. Beneath that slightly wonky gaze is a gentle, affectionate soul who seems deeply relieved to finally be safe. He's super chill and laid back, never once hissing or growling through his rescue and TNR adventure. He absolutely melts for head scratches and under-the-chin rubs and rewards you with the happiest little purr. Shallot would love a forever home where he can continue to decompress, be adored, and never worry about surviving another winter outside. He’s done roaming. He’s done roughing it. Now he’s just looking for someone to love him furever so he can put his Tomcat chapter behind him. Apply to meet this handsome fella today!  ##2663999##

Good with cats,
Story
Calling any and all people who have been mislabeled shy, emotional, reserved, or reclusive. When really you just take caution regarding the energy you allow into the peaceful life you've created. Freddy a 1-year-old male Siamese feels exactly that same way. He lives a quiet, serene lifestyle that requires some patience and time as he learns new faces and environments. Other feline companionship seems to really help Freddy feel more confident and would benefit him greatly in his forever home. If you're willing to take things slow in turn for a joyous experience watching Freddy blossom into the guy he truly is, please stop in and talk to cat staff. -Good with cats (prefers having another cat in the home) - Will do best in a home without dogs or kids -Age: 1 year and 7 months old -Adoption fee: $100 This cat is currently housed at our shelter. If you are interested, please come in at your earliest availability during our open hours, no appointment necessary. We do same-day adoptions, do not hold cats and work on a first-come, first-served basis as long as it is an excellent fit for both parties.
