Maddie's mom, Reagan, showed up in our yard about two weeks before she and her siblings were born. She was homeless, hungry, and afraid so we began feeding her and bought a cat shelter. Before we could get her to the vet to be vaccinated and spayed, she had her kittens in our shed.We have two adult cats of our own, so we moved the new family upstairs to an office area where they have had a little kitten nursery all to themselves. It's been 10 weeks now and they are all doing great. Eating solid food, using the litter box, and not causing any problems. Love to play and interact with each other and with us.Only one of Maddies 3 sisters (white one in photo) Piper has been adopted so far. The others Whitney (a bobtail), Reese, and the mom Reagan are all available for adoption. We have completed their first exams and vaccinations.They're all healthy, playful, and well socialized. Will make awesome pets!

Reagan showed up in our yard in mid-May. She was hungry, afraid, and (as it turns out) pregnant. We began feeding her and bought an outdoor shelter. Then we had a vet visit scheduled to get her immunized, chipped, and spayed. But a few days prior, she had four kittens in our shed. Since we already have two adult cats, we placed her in an upstairs office space and turned it into a kitten nursery. At first she a bit timid but has now warmed up and can be very affectionate. Her kittens are 9 weeks old and weaned, they all use the litter box and have been well behaved.Only 1 of the 4 kittens has a home so far. We will be listing the others on this website, hoping to find someone who will adopt Reagan and/or one of her kittens.They all went to the vet for their first exam and vaccinations on Friday July 31st and Reagan was no problem at all.We're willing to assist with the cost of getting her spayed if we can find a good home. She is just over a year old herself and will make a great pet!
