Story
Meet Crowley and Aziraphale — a perfectly mismatched pair straight out of Good Omens. Crowley is the playful troublemaker, full of curiosity and just the right amount of mischief, while Aziraphale is his sweet, gentle counterpart who loves nothing more than a cozy cuddle. Together, they strike the perfect balance of chaos and calm. Double the personalities, double the charm—this heavenly and slightly devilish duo is ready to bring a little magic (and mischief) into your home. If you're interested in adopting me, fill out an adoption application online at www.polkcountyhumanesociety.org/adopt where you will also find a link to reserve me for an appointment. Some pets are in foster homes or may already have an appointment scheduled, so the appointment is important to make sure I will be available to meet you when you come. All of our pets are neutered or spayed, have vaccinations appropriate for their age, are treated with flea/tick/heartworm prevention and dewormed #adoptdontshop ##2685322##

Story
Boiled egg is a very loving cat. He has many names including eggie, eggie boi, eggie eggertson, eggbert. He most likely has ibd. Which may sound scary but isn't. He cannot have other animals food and he is prone to scavenging. He is extremely food motivated and will attempt to steal any food that is left out. He always feels hungry because he doesn't absorb nutrients as well as he could due to the ibd. He is very cuddly and just wants to snuggle with you, but could benefit from a home with owners who have experience with special needs cats. He would do best in a home with people who are patient and can keep an eye on his diet. Has been in a house with cats, dogs, chickens, and children but does steal their food which upsets his stomach. He has been an indoor cat only

Story
My friends at Wayside say:-I enjoy watching videos-I am a social eater-I’m a graduate of Wayside’s TABBY program-I’m shy at first but full of love!-I am equal parts social and independentMy home preferences/restrictions:-I would like a quiet home environment-I will need extra time to warm up in a home-I will need a cat savvy adopter-I will require regular/special grooming*Special note: This cat is from a hoarding situation. They will likely need time to adjust to home life. They have lived with many other cats but may have not experienced socialization with people and things like petting and large open spaces are overwhelming for them. Adopters should be willing to be patient during this process. Sequestering a cat in one small room for 2-4 weeks can be very helpful and gives the cat a safe place to call their own. It is important to let them go at their own pace with building a relationship with their new family and limiting lots of commotion and visitors in the beginning is wise. They may have not experienced life outside of the hoarding situation, so things could be overwhelming for them at first. Patience and positive interactions are crucial. Aversive methods of training should be avoided. Using treats, play and enrichment to build trust and teach new things is the way to go! All cats are of course unique and the time in which they each warm up to people and places is just as unique as they are.
