Story
Intake date: 31 March 2024 ----- DOB: est March 2023 ----- Status: Owner surrender ----- Compatible with: cats, children, dogs ----- Suitable For: Indoor only home ----- Behavior/medical needs: severely matted. Will be shaved ----- Additional Notes: Meet Kilua! I wish I had info on this kitty but I have none. We were supposed to be picking up 3 cats being returned to rescue and a 4th was snuck in. No info, no records. I am not even sure if a male or female because the cat is matted so badly. Friendly and social so that is good! Will be scheduling a groom for this handsomly beautiful cat. We did figure out that Kilua is a male and he is incredibly loving. He adores everyone, dogs included. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- If interested in meeting and potentially adopting please read the adoption requirements and complete the adoption application located at forbellessake.org. Story
Intake date: 5 April 2023 ---- Adopted: May 2023 ----- Returned to Rescue: 31 March 2024 ----- DOB: est 1 March 2023 ----- Breed: DSH ----- Status: Trapped at a construction site on MAFB ----- Compatible with: cats, children, dogs ----- Suitable For: Indoor only home ----- Behavior/medical needs: None Noted ----- Additional Notes: Meet our Medieval family! We were contacted about kittens that were born at a construction site and cared for by the contractors, but were now exploring and at risk of accidents on site. Their mom was not as social, so we had to deploy traps but she was placed in a barn home where she doesn't have to fend for scraps. All of the kittens were adopted but then Cador and Laudine, who were adopted to the same home, were returned due to NO fault of their own. They are so loving and sweet and they deserve forever. Cador is the grey and white male and Laudine is the black and white sister. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- If interested in meeting and potentially adopting please read the adoption requirements and complete the adoption application located at forbellessake.org. Story
Intake date: 26 November 2023 ----- Adopted 31 Dec 203 ----- Returned to Rescue: 1 April 2024 --- Age at Intake: 2 yr ----- Status: legal confiscation----- Compatible with: cats, children, dogs with time ----- Suitable For: Indoor only home ----- Behavior/medical needs: permanent leg injury. Mild limp ----- Additional Notes: Meet Rena! This beautiful girl appears to be a British Short-hair. Miss Rena was taken from her owner after being severely beaten. She does have a wonky front leg because of an old trauma. It doesn't seem to effect her quality of life and the vet has thoroughly examined. She is overweight now as she came to rescue incredibly emaciated and had to wait for the judge to decide release from her owner. Since being in rescue since June, she has been showered with a bit too much food. She loves cuddles and affection and just wants to be with her people. She can be shy with new things, like most cats, but warms up quickly. She is not an alpha cat so I wouldn't recommend placing with a bossy cat or she will hide and may not adjust. She loved her kitten friends. She is sweet and sensitive. Rena was returned to rescue due to no fault of her own. The male cats in the home just weren't accepting of her. For everyone's safe living, she came back to rescue to find her forever home! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- If interested in meeting and potentially adopting please read the adoption requirements and complete the adoption application located at forbellessake.org.
