From a rescue set up thru a PetCo, when she was 8 weeks. I have had her for 6 years. I adopted another kitten around the same time, from the same place. She got into some fights with the other kitten but now my living situation has changed. I moved in with my daughter and she has a male “neutered” cat and Kia has become very dominating with her cat. When her cat tries to come out of of a room. Kia consistently tries to fight. To the point of her cat just won’t even come out anymore. We have tried all the things, slowly introducing them. Taking turns being out in the major part of the house. Nothing is working. She really is an amazing cat. And please know this is a very hard situation for all of us. She loves dogs. She loves people. But, honestly I think she would just be better to be the only cat in the household.

Hello, my name is Cola and my personality is as bubbly as my name. I love to play and cuddle and lick your toes. If I catch you trying to walk past me without acknowledgement or if you lock me out of a room, prepare to have your calf hugged while I insist on attention! I can be a little picky about my people so my foster mom would like to do a house visit with me before finalizing, this also means that the vet should get a heads up before my first 'establish with new vet' appointment. I am not child friendly, and my friend isn't dog friendly, so we are looking for an adult only, quieter home. I have long hair so it is a must that I am brushed at least weekly, or else I will end up with mats that hurt my sensitive skin again. Thankfully, I am learning to like being brushed by watching how much my best friend, Cake, likes to be brushed. I was rescued from outside and was in awful condition. Most of my wounds have healed, but I do have a crooked jaw and head tilt, and will need a family willing and able to care for that in the future were it to cause any issues. As for now, it seems to have little affect on how I live my life. Mouse toys, feathers that fly around on sticks, tunnels to jump through, cat trees and the nip is a must. I also really, really love those dirt cheap small beds you can pick up at 5 Below or Walmart. Lastly, watch your outer door when you come in or leave. My foster mom is nervous I might decide to test my luck one day, and outside is the last place I need to be unsupervised and/or without a harness. Please, send in apps for me and my bff, Cake. Q-TIP is a bit shy to new things at first but warms up quickly. She has lots of energy. Once she wears some of her energy off she enjoys cuddle time. Q-Tip would do best with a kitty friend. We are unsure about dogs but think she would be ok with a slow introduction.
